Author has written 2 stories for Phantom of the Opera.

Hello everyone,

First and foremost I apologize for taking so long to update. Computer problems coupled with a crazy class schedule kept me from working on the stories. I have more time on my hands now, as well as a new laptop, so I should be able to update more often.

I was a bit bored so I decided to update the profile page.

~Mini Bio:

I am a college student, majoring in biology with a double minor in poli-sci and chemistry. I also work in a hospital as an assistant radiologist in the CAT Scan department. My ESL (English as Second Language) teacher from 7th grade encouraged me to write a lot. It was not until my senior year of high school that I began to truly write (up till then we only wrote analytical papers that needed to follow a certain format). I haven’t stopped writing since then.

As I mentioned, English is my second language. I was born in Albania and have been living in the States for about 8 years now. I still speak Albanian at home. I also picked up Italian when I was little, so I can speak it fluently. I love languages and am thinking of starting to study Romanian.

As for the future, I really don’t know. I wanted to go to Med school, but changed my mind. I can’t see myself working in a hospital for the rest of my life. Right now I am thinking of pursuing a career in forensics.

I love to read. Oscar Wilde is my all time favorite author. If he was alive and not gay I would marry him. I read just about anything from the Victorian Period (Dickens, Bronte, Alcott, Carroll). I also really like Bram Stoker’s works and Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein. Modern day writers that I like are Arthur Japin (In Lucia’s Eyes), Elizabeth Redfern (Auriel Rising), Dan Simmons (Children of the Night) and Laurie Garrett (The Coming Plague). I also read mangas, manhwas, and manhuas. Right now I am reading ES: Eternal Sabbath by Fuyumi Soryo.

Music is another thing I cannot live without. I have been deeply in love with Nine Inch Nails for years now and cannot wait till they start touring in the Sates (they are in Europe right now). I also like Seether, Linkin Park, Kidney Thieves, Nightwish, Within Temptation, Apocalyptica, and Poets of the Fall. I cannot stand half the songs that play on the radio so I have stopped listening to it all together. The music industry in the US is going down the toilet.

I’ll end with 2 quotes, one from my favorite author and the other from my favorite videogame:

“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious

things that cannot be taken from you.”

~Oscar Wilde

"Death is inevitable. Our fear of it makes us play safe, blocks out emotion. It's a losing game. Without passion you are already dead."

~Max Payne (written by Sam Lake)

~The Stories:

As of right now, I am only writing stories based on the Phantom of the Opera. I have already written a Tomb Raider fanfic (videogame based, not the movies), but I don’t know if I’ll post it.

-51-

I finished the next two chapters and will update it soon. I have been having a tough time writing it. I had no idea how hard it was to write in 1st person perspective. The link to the image that inspired the Christine from that story is below.

-Tortured Souls-

I wrote the ending to this story months ago. I know exactly where I am going with it. I know the story is a bit confusing right now, but everything will be cleared up by the end, including Renee’s identity.
