I'm an uni student, so I likely won't have the time nor motivation to write fics, however I am active. I much prefer to read Slash/Yaoi, though I do enjoy reading het couples if they are well written. I am currently on a Tom Riddle or Voldemort/Harry hype.
I now spend majority of my time stalking my favourite fandoms or fav-whoring stories. I don't usually drop reviews because I never seem to know what to write, when I do, I hope to write something more constructive than a "i luv it!1! Plz update!11!" Occasionally, I will let author of the story I review know if I come across any spelling or grammatical errors because I'm a grammar Nazi like that.
Fics I generally won't read:
*Threesomes/moresomes because I abhor infidelity unless I'm in the mood for some PWP. Most authors seem to do it for the hotness/sex/fanservice, while I prefer stories with a more concrete plot. And honestly, I can't see Tom Riddle or Voldemort sharing, at all.
*Poor spelling/grammar- you write on Word or some kind of software with spelling correction, right? At least make an effort to keep your mistakes to a minimal. Having the same spelling errors and grammatical mistakes reoccur just make you look like you don't bother putting effort into your work.
*Self-insert/Mary Sue characters, they are a huge put off, due to the fact they are unoriginal or are flawlessly perfect.
*Genderblending- Unless you can pull it off, and most can't, don't do it. They almost always end up becoming a Mary-Sue of some sort. Either that or you harbour some kind of hatred for gay couples so if you believe genderblending one of the characters will nullify the fact it makes them less ghey, then, lulz at you.
*OOCness- should be self explanatory.
*OC's- while not all OC's are Mary Sues, introducing an abundance of them will complicate the plot. And for me, personally, I find 90% of OC's boring. If it's just one or two then I tend to overlook it.
Note: I understand the stories I wrote are either lacking proper plot or OOC, they were written years ago. However I thank all those who have reviewed or faved what I've written, it means much to me.
