The story takes place, when MacGyver and Jack had been in Afghanistan. They were just realizing, how important they've become to each other, when fate threatens to take Mac from Jack. Mac whump and a little Jack whump. I don't own any of the characters.

To say that Mac is dealing poorly with the aftermaths of the events in 3x22 is putting it quite nicely. In fact, he is going down in a whirl of grief, guilt, disconcertion and self-hate. Matty has come over for a heart-to-heart... WARNING: Spoilers for the finale and season 3 in general! This won't make a lot of sense, if you haven't seen the episode.

On the anniversary of the ill-fated mission in Turkey, MacGyver and Dalton once again find themselves separated, and Mac makes a decision that has devastating consequences not only for himself, but the people who are most important to him. Finally, finally complete.

Both of Mac's "fathers" have a discussion over his hospital bed. I do not like James MacGyver, and this story is my attempt to reconcile with the character. Protective Jack looking out for his boy, as usual. Mac is technically there, but mostly just as set dressing...

A short one shot. What happens the first time Mac has to diffuse a bomb after he failed with the elevator bomb that killed Charlie. No warnings.

Phoenix catches wind of a plan to steal the prize money from a charity rodeo event. Obviously, Matty's first instinct is to send in Mac and Jack. What could possibly go wrong...?

I'm dying without my weekly Mac fix. This is an AU with spoilers for the last couple episodes. Jack comes back to find Mac in a funk, he finds out Oversight is dying. Mac gets some bad news and the family have to regroup and get back into rhythm to help him. Warning for occasional swearing and intense emotions. Shouldn't be any violence, but you never know.

It's dark when Mac wakes up so it takes him a few moments to decide that he really is awake. It's the worst kind of darkness, suffocatingly black. He can't tell if his eyes are actually open or not, although, maybe it's a good thing it's so dark because any form of light would make the brutal pounding in his head even worse and he's pretty sure that's not something he wants.

They're pretty sure this mission will have the same "we don't talk about..." rules attached to it. If they survive it. Post-season 3.

All Jack has to do is keep the goons distracted while Mac does his thing. It's never that easy.

I am horrified to learn that Jack's character may be leaving the show! I mean, Mac without Jack is like PB without J, Oreos without the creamy middle, a BL without the T, so this is a story about how friends and loved ones stick around, even when things get tough.

Tag/Rewrite of Wilderness Training Survival - I loved this episode, but I wanted Jack with the team, and it seemed other people here wanted that too. So this is a rewrite of the episode, with our people all together, just the way the fandom intended.

Set post 3x02. Angus MacGyver lives on a fault line, constantly prepared for people he loves to leave him. It takes his world literally falling apart for Mac to find solid ground. Or…the time the Phoenix team endured an earthquake and Jack recalled a particularly gruesome tour he and Mac barely survived.

Things never seem to work out well for MacGyver. He'll be forced to face his father and all the lies and misunderstandings between them if he is to save his partner. Military Fic / Pre-Series 2016 version - Mac can compartmentalize like no one Jack has ever met, but even his young EOD has his limits. Jack discovers Mac's fear of heights, the hard way.

The Director before Thornton was not careful with his agents. Jack discovers this when he comes in to work one morning to find Mac already gone, sent on a loan to another team, one Jack has never met. Mac is not in good condition when returned, and it raises concerns for Jack about their roles - and future - with DXS. (pre-series, gen, for my h/c bingo square 'fever/delirium')

MacGyver has quit the Phoenix. While trying to convince him to come back, he and Jack, along with Oversight, are attacked and kidnapped by a familiar face, whose motives are fairly obvious. Rated T for my paranoia and injuries.

Three weeks since their last scheduled check in. One Alex didn't make. 19 days since he was declared MIA. 19 days of waiting for a sign he was okay. But it had been 19 days of nothing. 19 days of searching for leads. 19 days of dead ends. But Ben won't give up until he has Alex in his arms. Set after SCORPIA Rising. Never Say Die events haven't happened.

Set in S2 after Wind Water. They've been all-go-no-quit for weeks, and it's taking a toll. They're hurt, tired, and need down time. But when Mac is grabbed so that his special skill set can be used as a pawn in a crazy revenge scheme, nothing will stop Jack from getting him back. Nothing, that is, except his own pain.

Set in S2. Jack Dalton defines himself by how well he does one job: protecting MacGyver. But when he wakes up wounded to find Mac missing and no memory of where is partner might be, Jack is lost. And his only way back is to find Mac—alive.

Set in S2. When a simple search and retrieval of a rogue CIA agent turns sideways, Jack and MacGyver are left wounded in the Canadian wilderness, their only hope of survival the very man they were sent to bring reluctantly home.

This is the first time one of Mac's plans has gone horrifically pear-shaped in front of Riley and Bozer. This is most assuredly not the first time it has happened in front of Jack. (And it never gets any easier.) Or: the one where Mac falls, Bozer and Riley watch him come close to death for the first time, and Jack holds everyone (for the most part) together (for as long as he can)

What if Mac's father hadn't been sending him clues to find him. What if it was Murdoc leading his favorite toy into a trap.

Christmas plans get put on hold when Mac gets a video message from an old enemy, and our favorite spy has to race across the globe to rescue someone who once saved his life. Rated T for my sake, and injuries later on.

A "quick" trip to Istanbul ends with MacGyver in enemy hands, and Dalton presumed KIA. Two weeks later, intel indicates a US operative is aiding the enemy. Rated T for graphic violence and language. And, at long last, this story is complete.

Murdoc's best chance at freedom- and a new job- lies in MacGyver's death. But in true Murdoc style, that death will be long, complicated, meticulously planned, and will have a strong element of chance involved. Poison, he thinks, will work nicely. Mac whump.

Bozer and Riley go snooping to find out what really happened on that mission in Cairo, and find more than they bargained for. (My very whumpy version of what could have happened)

Jack and Bozer have to work to find out what's going on with Mac after he's beaten while sleep walking. Hurt/Comfort/Angst. Warning for some swearing. Very, very long one shot.

Mac is kidnapped by Murdoc, sending the team on a mission to rescue him and deal with the trauma of the event. Probably a 'more than is healthy' dose of H/C, action, building of relationships between characters. For SPN fans, there's a little Easter Egg in here for you, too! Set mid-S2. Not all missions are a success, no matter how good Mac is at improvising. One failure hits Mac particularly hard and before he's able to re-balance, the team is in the middle of another crisis—this time Mac's ready to die before he fails to protect another innocent. Unless Jack has something to say about it.

Mac doesn't know where he is when he wakes up, and doesn't know why everyone is shouting, but he knows he'd like them to stop. Concussions and MacGyver plans do not mix well

Missing Scene for Episode 2:09 CD Rom & Hoagie Foil. Bedside vigils have become an all to common occurrence for Jack Dalton. He's had enough experience to know that even when the prognosis is good, there are some wounds better left to a brother.

A little story that picks up where Mac sees the image of Matty on the makeshift screen; after he is home from the hospital but still suffering the effects of the day. Of course Pap Jack is there and comes to the rescue.

A little fix to the last episode when Mac wakes up in the hospital after being exposed to the nerve gas. Jack should have been the one there when Mac woke up, not Cage, so I fixed it. Just a short one.

Missing scene to 02x04 X-Ray and Penny. You did what you had to to protect your family; even from themselves and their restless, ginormous brains. Hurt/Comfort. Worried Jack and Bozer. PapaJack. Mac is not himself. At all.

Things looked pretty whumpy in the sneak preview for 2.09- "CD and Hoagie Foil". So much so that AllieMacKenzie28 and I just had to RP it out for ourselves before we watched it. This is a request fic from Kelcor. It took forever because it became a beast and got away from me a few times. Sorry about that. Basically, the bromance in full force.
