Author has written 4 stories for Roswell, and Fairy Tales.
Oh HORRORS! I just realized I've never created a Profile! Not that anyone much cares, or reads them but I figured I ought to have one.
Here it is: I'm very obviously a poor writer with a love of Roswell. (I might branch out eventually, but I'm not very good at having multitasking obsessions.) I won't bore you with lots of personal details, so instead let me talk about my story.
What-if was an abandoned fanfic on another site. Writing was atrocious, but the idea sparked my curiosity. I decided for my own interest, I'd finish it myself just to see where it lead. Over time, (I've been writing this for over a year just for the heck of it...) it became a completely different story, though some things from the first few chapters are still along the lines of the original story idea. A friend who wondered why I spent so much free time with my computer read the story and thought it was pretty entertaining, and suggested I post it on this site. Which is how I came to be here, writing, posting, and occasionally bothering other writers with my ideas, praise and reveiws.
I've written 33 chapters for this story thus far. I'm attempting to write a satisfying ending, but as of yet, that ending hasn't materialized from my mind into firm print. As I go back through to post, I'm making some changes to improve foreshadowing, plot and polishing up characterizations. I'm trying to post at least a chapter a week, but there's no promises; life has a funny way of keeping me busy. Also since muses come and go, there are times when I'm just not up for editing anything! I tend to beta my own work, or occasionally, a fellow author helps when she's not busy writing her own, much more successful publications. If errors slip through, I appologize. I'm usually pretty good about that!
I also have a short oneshot that came from a late night Roswell Marathon. It's not my best work, but I figured why not, so I've posted it!
So without further ado, go READ my life's labor, and feel free to reveiw!
December 2009 update: A year after my last update saying that the story will be finished soon, and it's still not done. Sorry about that. I am working on another chapter that should be posted this month. Admittedly I haven't worked on it in a while: NaNoWriMo kind of took my life and brain by storm and though I didn't even get near to the 50,000 word goal, my mind is still recovering from the effort.
Thank you to all of you who have added me to their alerts, favorites or even better, actually reveiwed. It's been very helpful in motivating me to continue. Knowing people are waiting to know what happens next just spurs my desire to write more about what happens as well!
Alright, back to the salt mines!!
