Things that inspire me:
(But just the major ones!)
Harry Potter! Final Fantasy, THE HUNGER GAMES, Lord of the Rings, Narnia, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Star Wars (I am a self-confessed geek) several animes/mangas, in particular Fullmetal Alchemist and Avatar, the Last Airbender. Fairy tales and classic mythology, unsolved cases, walks in the woods, travelling and seeing new places, blurbs from books I'll never read, any kind of art work, browsing deviantart.com... Also, really random fantasy and sci-fi novels and movies.
Favourite authors: (this could take a while)
J.K Rowling, C.S Lewis, Meg Cabot, Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Eva Ibbotson, Anthony Horowitz, David Eddings, Eva Ibbotson, James Patterson, Cassandra Clare, Sarah Rees Brennan, Suzanne Collins. If you can't find one in there you like, I have to wonder if you ever read.
Fantasy, sci-fi, action, romance, comedy, mystery, adventure, drama, classic- am clearly not fussy. Applies to books and movies, I like both!
People who like my work and all the reviews I get! I love their input to my stories and how they're not afraid to criticise/make suggestions/point out errors.
I love people who aren't afraid to be themselves, and those that stand up for themselves, their beliefs and other people, even when they're terrified. I call them the Xander-Nevilles of the world, whom I appreciate better than the hero counterparts and the fearless leaders of their relevant series.
(In no order)
Edward/Winry- Fullmetal Alchemist
At the moment, I am currently teaching/researching Fairy Tales, and have re-ignited my obsession. I just finished reading City of Heavenly Fire- loved the ending, although I found the book a bit overlong!
I've also finally finished the novel I've been writing on-and-off for TEN YEARS. You have no idea how much I would appreciate feedback on this.
