UM it's basically been forever since i've updated this thing. i'll finally admit that two suns is on hiatus for now because right now my harry potter muse isn't working. at the moment, my obsession is the big bang theory.

also, for anyone who had actually ever read this thing (those, like... two people, lol), i made a huge deal about never ever going noncanon with my ships. i love all the canon pairings, in harry potter, in firefly, in star wars... and that remains generally true. i tend to love canon, it gives me a lot to work with and i usually trust the creators of the characters and their visions of them. in fact, the only non-canon i had ever gone was with river/jayne for firefly, and since the two of them weren't paired with anyone to begin with, i didn't see that as much of an aberration.

...aaaand then i got into the big bang theory. and i love sheldon/penny like i have never loved anything before. i joined livejournal for the sake of joining the frankly AWESOME sheldon/penny community there, paradox. like, seriously, i don't see my love for these two diminishing anytime soon. for those of you who don't watch the big bang theory, first off: get ON that. second off: the canon pairing is leonard/penny, but i really can't stand them together for reasons i won't go into. but sheldon is my favorite character, penny right after him, and when these two interact the screen lights up, they cause each other to grow, they have the most beautiful charged love/hate friendship and they respect and accept each other, faults and all. i can go on, but i think i've made my point ;).

also: i truly believe that these two WILL be canon. not anytime soon--i don't WANT it anytime soon, i want a slow and awesome buildup--but they will. i have faith they will be endgame.
