Author has written 4 stories for X-Men: The Movie.

I have always loved Wolverine though I have always disliked Marvel comics, with a few exceptions, and that dislike is now stronger than ever before. What those eejits did to Singer's brilliant trilogy was unforgivable! The stench of money is getting a bit too much for me... But they do have things I like too. The The X Men Origins: Wolverine was ok (barely) and The Wolverine was good. Days of Future Past, however, was great!

I had been reading some Wolverine fanfic for a while when suddenly this very clear movie-like image popped into my head. Logan lying on the ground in an early spring forest and an OC finding him. I agonized over writing it for sometime 'cause the story was coming out in English and it not being my native language I felt kind of apprehensive about actually writing it down. But the story kept growing in my mind and in the end I had no choice but to get on with it.

On August 1st 2015: I had to rethink the 16th chapter after rewriting the 15th to make sure there was no continuity problems between the chapters. You need to keep that in mind if you rewrite a part in the middle. The next chapter, the 17th, is ready and waiting. I need to read that through for the same reason. I need to keep all the threads untangled and running.

Incidentally, I don't have a native beta reader at the moment. Any takers?

Quote of the Moment:

We are all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?

The Doctor, Doctor Who, Season 5, Episode 13

Folks seem to post likes and dislikes on their profiles and that realization got me thinking about mine too.

I guess my favourite movie must be Brokeback Mountain. It's the only movie I have ever seen twice in theater so that must mean something. Even better are the latest three Batman flicks: Batman Begins, The Dark Knight & The Dark Knight Rises. Man, they are gold! Following films are strong candidates too: Kill Bill 1&2, High Noon, Rear Window, Three Colours: Blue, The Searchers, The Seven Samurai, The Magnificent Seven, Copland, Sin City, Sense & Sensibility, Matrix, The Fifth Element, Star Wars IV: A New Hope, Wallace & Gromit animations (Cheese, Gromit!), Grouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Rise the Red Lantern, Eat Drink Man Woman, Samurai Fiction, Syriana, Serenity and Firefly...

You just try to guess what's my favourite tv-series...

There is one movie I will never want to see again: Tetsuo 1&2 (OK, it actually is two movies but who's counting ;) It takes quite a bit to freak me out and these aren't really that bad, but for some reason...

I don't have a favourite band, but I usually listen U2, Cranberries, CMX, Eppu Normaali, Dire Straits, Peatbog Faeries, Jethro Tull and Rush. Though countless others play regularly in my livingroom. James Blunt is a new acquaintance, believe it or not.

I love meat and I can't stand dentistry. I prefer Irn Bru over Coca Cola and a horse is my favourite choice of transportation. Ian Banks is the best scifi writer there is and his "serious" novels are pretty darn good too. I recommend The Feersum Endjinn, The Crow Road and Dead Air. Gay Gavriel Kay is the king of fantasy but Mika Waltari is the emperor (though people don't list him as a fantasy writer, but it's their loss). David Gemmel is the knight in no so shiny armour and Ursula Le Guin is the queen. Her The Left Hand of Darkness is one of the best scifi books I have read.

I took X-men Personality Quiz again (I wanted to see if I would still score as Colossus) and look what happened:

You scored as Wolverine.

Wolverine is a loner, and a skilled fighter. He's got the hots for Jean Grey but a better fit for him would be Storm. He doesn't like to follow orders which pisses Cyclops off. He has terrible memories from the experimentation done on him at Weapon X. Even though he doesn't show it, he loves the X-Men. Powers: Fast healing and adamantium skeleton and claws.

Colossus 85

Wolverine 85

Rogue 80

Nightcrawler 65

Beast 65

Iceman 65

Should I be worried? Maybe I've spent too much time writing my fanfic and thinking about how Logan would react to this or that. Though it was a tie between Colossus & Wolverine and they made me choose which I would prefer: "I wish I could just kill the bad guys, because I would enjoy guttin' them" or "You enjoy throwing things - fast." You'll never guess...

Well, that was them. Now I'm back to Colossus with 90% though Wolverine is still second with 85%.
