Author has written 12 stories for Vampire Knight.
Writing satisfies my desire to play God.
And tvtropes is the bible I would distribute to my people.
You've all been neglected, and I'm sorry, but I will never truly leave writing.
In the time span of which I've been gone I've worked out the rough outlines of another 72 stories. Maybe more. I didn't write down more than about 20 of them.
I'm rewriting my fics starting with Sweeter Than Sin. Then I'm going to try my best to focus on writing just one at a time. Hopefully.
Maybe I'll start another story with just one chapter and come back to my main (Sweeter Than Sin) just to try to work out my thoughts. It's much better than trying to write for five heavily developing stories at once. Then I get ideas for other fics while I work on my main and never get any work done. It's easier to focus on one thing when you have something else to ignore, which is why I write to music.
I should make more fics set in canon. It's funny, considering all of my oneshots are rooted in one aspect of canon or another. My fics should come with an OOC warning, but I'm working on fixing that, somewhat, with my edits. It's fun to twist facets of one personality into the main components of the character type I want them to be for that universe.
Biased: I try not to be, but I am. I prefer Yuuki to end up with Zero, but I won't cry about the series being "ruined" if she ends up with Kaname or dead, for that manner.
I suck at it.
I'm awkward with it.
It's a love affair I'm trying to tone down. This page, for example, isn't heavy with it.
Flat and round characters:
I use them. Go ahead and complain about how I always make Zero the hero and Kaname the evil jerkass. They'll balance out at the nexus in some cases.
The way I use characters:
I might stick them in a cookie cutter fic. Kaname is a WONDERFUL character to make a villain. I happen to love villains. Other situations will keep their roles firmly in place. I'll switch around who works for the light and who feels at home in the darkness. Hell, Yuuki is a villian in more than one of the fics. (Whether they're being written or not, I won't say.) If you read closely you'll notice Zero will have moments where he's far more cruel than Kaname could ever be.
Dark Themes - Horror, Gore, Rape etc.:
I'm not afraid to use these. Maybe I'll mix them with sexual and power fetishes. They're more interesting than simple fluff.
More to come. I'm going to sleep.

I have been away for over three years, and still received plenty of reviews, follows, favorites and fan mail. You guys are wonderful. Please, keep piling on the guilt until I come back to you, because I always will. A lot has happened in these three years.
I've lost love
And that's only the tip of the iceberg. How have you been? I'd love to hear from you.
Until next time.
