Sakuramae is your average (or not-so-average) gung-ho writer with big dreams taken a great, patient step at a time. She is always experimenting with writing styles and has a difficulty committing to 50,000-word novellas, instead favoring the shorter, more condensed pieces of storytelling. This might be due to psychological issues that pertain to ending things and moving on, but that can certainly be construed as mere psychobabble (maybe she's just lazy as sin). It certainly doesn't mean that she can't write anything longer than a short story, since her latest original piece has now passed the 60,000-word mark, a feat even the likes of NaNoWriMo should be proud of.
Sakuramae likes to think she's as young as a freshly picked strawberry, so please try not to push the age question (one can assume that since she's already graduated college at least once, that she's 21 and so many months older). From her multiple years of frolicking through the Interwebs, Sakuramae has developed a wide taste in fandom, dabbling from anything that's interested her in the gaming, anime, and literary fiction worlds. She's no stranger to anything from fantasy and science fiction, to young-adult dramas, mysteries, histories, nonfiction biographies, and stream-of-consciousness writing (please don't ask her to read more of the latter, she might just go rabid and strike the offender with her sledgehammer).
On the whole, Sakuramae would like to stress that she is in no way a violent person; most threats and confrontational events are played out mentally to save any extra effort of laying a finger on the irksome entities. So when she threatens anyone with a sledgehammer, know that the struggle only occurs in her head--unless she actually has a sledgehammer.
This author hopes that her tendencies has not dissuaded the reader from peeking and critiquing her work. She enjoys the process of writing and equally enjoys the feedback garnered. And if anything else, she enjoys the visitor hits kept track in the traffic option of her account!
