General Note to All Readers:
Just wanted to give fair warning that I am a very slow writer. And when I say slow, I mean verrrry slow. It usually takes me months at a time to finish a chapter, and another month after that to read it over a couple hundred times until I feel confident enough to post it. Perfectionism sucks. (Yes, that's probably not a word.) School and other interests take up a large portion of my time, and when in a really good mood I can really only manage half a page every half hour - and most of that ends up getting reworked and rewritten before postage. I know how annoying it is to get somewhere good in a story and then be left hanging, and though I will try to finish everything I post (eventually...) it may not come for quite a while... Different, for example, was worked on for a full year before being posted here, and it's not even close to completion. Currently I'm at the staring-blankly-at-the-screen stage for that one, but I'm trying, I tells ya!
Specific Note on Different:
I've decided to hold off posting anything until the story is complete (and I plan to do this for future works as well). There are just too many things that I'm not sure about, things that might change, and I don't want to post before I'm sure of the ending. I apologize for the wait, but I think this is the only way I'm going to finish it at this rate. Also, it's not fair to tease my readers with chapters spread so far apart. So, I'm definitely still chipping away at it, and as of today I only have 3 more chapters to write, if everything goes as planned. When it's finally done you'll get it all in a matter of weeks, maybe days. So if you like it, bookmark it, and when you get an alert you'll know you can read the finished product.
