Welcome to my profile!
January 2017 UPDATE:
KS News: I am more than halfway with the Shifting Views revision! It makes me so happy. That said, it might end up shorter than the original. Not completely certain yet.
LoZ: Holding Fire was finally updated last month. I hope to add in the next chapter soon. I'm a little nervous about how readers will take the story's plot since it is my first LoZ story --so sorry for the delays. But I'm just going to go with I had intended. XD
Thank you for your patience.
END OF UPDATE
My 'finishing stories' priorities:
1. Shifting Views REVISION
2. Holding Fire
3. Nothing Like the Holidays
A little about myself:
I hope to write books directed towards the young adult audience. I like fantasy. I like dragons, magic, and tunics. lol! I still read teen books and some manga, despite being in college age range.
Just because a story, movie or t.v. show was written for a certain age range doesn't mean that older people can't enjoy it. You'll probably understand a lot more references than the kids do, and quite honestly, I think creators add those references in so that the older crowd can enjoy it too.
KS Think Tank Forum:
I don't know what possessed me to do this, but I have created a forum for the Kaleido Star. It is called "KS Think Tank!" It's a place to share ideas, thoughts, themes, topics about the show that could interest people into writing for the fandom. Or even just ponderings about the show.
NOTE: Writing Challenges posted do not have an expiration! You can do any of the challenges whenever you want! Feel free to post your own challenges as well!
Late Bloomer: Set after the series - Sora tilted her head. "You want to know what?" May withheld the urge to roll her eyes. "Dating." Sora frowned. "What makes you think I can help?" May gave her a dead pan look. She had Ken following over himself for her and was now going out with Leon. "Seriously? It's not like I'm asking for a kidney."
Winter and Spring: AU A Hades and Persephone story with SXL as the main protagonists. Most likely will be M rated.
The Trouble with Tails: AU Adaptation of the Little Mermaid fairy tale with my own twists. YxSxL
Untitled: AU Tired of depending on her aunt and uncle for support, Sora decides that it's time to settle down, however much she dislikes the idea. When visiting her childhood friend Layla in the city, they receive news that there will be several masquerades in honor of the heir to the throne. Despite the fact that she hadn't been to a ball since Layla was a debutante, Sora's still determined to find the right husband, her quaint country manners be damned. But who is that dark figure in the shadows of the ball and why does it constantly catch her attention? SxL T rating most likely.
Time After Time: Set after the series. Sora couldn't figure Leon out, despite being his partner for a whole year. Was she doing something wrong? Or was the past still keeping its tight grip on him? So when Rosetta approaches Sora with a message and dusty old box from the Fool, she is more than curious about its contents. What did The Wheel of Fortune and The Magician tarot cards have to do with an hourglass? (Time Traveling story) SxL Might keep it at T.
Lady and the Tramp: Layla and Yuri story. Could be AU or after the series. Haven't decided yet.
Side story from Shifting Views universe: Yuri came to New York after years of no contact. Layla was, as anticipated, skeptical of the sudden return of her first partner. What could he want and why does his presence put her on edge? YxL
One Shot for Tangled Magic: Haven't thought of a good plot for it yet. Sorry fans! XP
LoZ Story Idea (Twilight Princess): They were out in the desert, battle weary, exhausted, and grief struck. As Link sat in the sands staring at the fragments of the shattered mirror, he felt a hand on his shoulder. "She did what was best." His eyes narrowed as he turned to Zelda, the supposed monarch of his lands. "It was more than what you did," he snapped out. The tension was taut. She didn't know how they were going to survive the journey back to the castle. And he will take her back, not abandon her in these forgotten sands. "I did," Zelda murmured quietly, but sternly, "what was needed."
LoZ (AU, Twilight Princess): King Shad the Scholar is dead, leaving behind a stony Queen Zelda. But the circumstances of the king's death suggest that there is a traitor in the castle. The Queen needs a guard not tied to any of the suspects in question nor can be bought for a pretty rupee. But in the Queen's soul, another battle is underway. How does one conquer grief in the midst of politics and with a rural, goat smelling guard that won't leave her a moment's peace?
NOTE: The order in which I have put these ideas is not the order in which I will do them.
