Author has written 2 stories for Lord of the Rings.
Alright, I have to admit that I have absolutely no idea what to say about my self. I have no interest in writing my entire life's story, and don't flatter myself that any one else out there would have any interest in reading it. So in the sake of simplicity, I have outlined a few of my interests.
Name: El Capitan K-rage
Age: But a number
Music: Everything. I am not kidding, I like all genres. This does not hold true for every band (cough Nickelback cough), but I am very eclectic and I will listen to just about anything.
Books: I lean toward Sci-fi and fantasy. Although like music, I will give just about anything a try. Some favorites are: The Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R Tolkien, The Earthsea Trilogy by Ursula K. Leguin, The Dragonriders of Pern Series by Anne McCaffery, Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair by Pablo Neruda, anything by Isaac Asimov, and so many more.
Movies: I like Action/Adventure movies. Sometimes a little romance. Definitely some Sci-fi. (But usually because they are so bad it's hilarious). Love me some comedy as well.
I will close with some of my favorite quotes, because I think that will tell you more about me than anything else:
I'm not afraid to die. I just don't want to be there when it happens.
My choice early in life was either to be a piano-player in a whorehouse or a politician. And to tell the truth, there's hardly any difference.
The brain is a wonderful organ. It starts working when you get up in the morning, and doesn't stop until you get to the office.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. It's the transition that's troublesome. -- Isaac Asimov
A bookstore is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking.
If all the world's a stage, I want to operate the trap door.
I am free of all prejudices. I hate everyone equally.
The most exciting phrase to hear in science, the one that heralds the most discoveries, is not Eureka! (I found it!) but 'That's funny...’
Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity.
Education is the ability to listen to almost anything without losing your temper.
At this moment I am in the process of writing a story (technically two, but we won't go there). Unfortunately, the drudgery of everyday life and the responsibilities therein have kept me from writing more often than not. But I have not given up on these stories, I promise!
