Today sees a brand new profile picture, gifted to me by Noah19. It is her brilliant portrayal of how Sephiroth must have felt and looked at the end of BREAKDOWN, when he swore to himself that he would recapture and kill Cloud. So, today I decided to be brave and, although Redemption still has one chapter to go before being finished, I thought I would carry on and start uploading the story. I ought to be able to end the story by the time my readers have got through forty odd other chapters... [crosses fingers.]

Okay, for those of you who might be checking here to see my latest update; here it is!

I am currently working on chapter 41 of Redemption, the sequel to Break Down. And, I am very pleased to announce, the story is even closer to a finish. The bare bones of the last few chapters have been written, now all they need is fleshing out. I'm still in two minds as to what to do about posting the chapters though. One part of me is keen as mustard to start putting up the chapters now, but the other part of me is reluctant to do so until the story is fully completed. I don't want it to end up the same as Ever After... a fully worked out story, with no published end.

Mmmm, I guess until I can make a decision, I'd best get back to writing, lol

Well, it's been quite a long time since anyone last heard from me, but I am pleased to announce that the sequel to BREAKDOWN is almost complete! Is that whoops of joy I hear? Lol

I can't say that it is quite as dark as the first episode, as our two fav boys are dealing with coming to terms with each other, but I can tell you it's still no fluffy bunny saga. Like its predecessor, there is the promise of much dark stuff, and of course yummy yaoi.

As some of you are aware, I've 'lost' my precious guinea-pig, Stephy, to the perils of real life... dammit... and so I am the one who has to not only write the story, but also to go back over my work correcting and editing, and correcting and editing, and etc, etc. I am my own worse critic, need I say anymore, hence why it has taken so long to get in a comfortable enough position to declare that my progress is at last seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

Twenty-seven chapters have been edited to my best ability so far, with six more written ones needing my attention, and from there it will be just pinning down my muses long enough to write the last few finishing chapters and tada!

I am really looking forward to seeing if any of my old regulars are still about, and still interested in Cloud and Seph, and of course I'm very excited about meeting new readers who hopefully will enjoy my new story just as much. So, until I begin posting... Happy reading and writing everyone :D

I am so pleased!! Two of my stories have been nominated by MK-KM for the Genesis Awards. Obsession, and An Ode To The One I Love. I'll know if they make it in to the finals by April 15th, and the overall winners are to be announed on June 15th. Good luck to all my competitors too!

Just being nominated is an honour for me. Thank you so, so much Mitch and Kay. It's so heart warming to me to know that writers of your calibur have faith in my works. And...update Someday already, lol.

Well...the sad update to this is... I don't think I won anything. It's now July 17th, and I've heard not even so much as a whisper from anyone about whether or not I was successful.

I absolutely adore reading well written stories. The kind that drags the reader in and grips them by the throat. The one's that make you fall in love with the characters and feel their pain, their sorrow, their joy. They don't have to be word perfect. They don't even have to have flawless spelling. You just know when a story is good by the passion the writer puts into their work.

I have found several writers like this. One's who make me practically beg on hands and knees for updates to their stories. This is the link to DrkDreamers original story, Nicea. It is about the life of a young Roman boy, sold into slavery on his eleventh birthday to save his family from ruin. It is a dark, hard story to read. DrkDreamer tells it how it would have been, no if's, no but's, no maybe's. She makes no excuses for keeping it real, and that's what makes her an excellent story writer, in my opinion.

Yay, DrkDreamer has started putting up another original story. It's called Collateral Damage, and tells the harsh harrowing tale of young would-be-priest, Talya, and his enforced slavery. Caught hiding away during the taking of the Temple, he is 'given' to Micah, the leader of the Grogeni army that attacked. Like all of DrkDreamer's stories, it is harsh and cruel, but so well written you cannot but help want to keep reading more.

What can I say about this author, other than just how amazing she is! So versatile. From her you will find not only original works of art, but also fan fics from Buffy and Harry Potter... not to mention the many, many others she's written for tv shows and movies. Yes, there IS yaoi in among her stories, but many of them contain male/female loving too...Like I said, she truly is amazing.

Sadly, Scribe seems to have stopped updating the stories at her AdultFanFiction site, which is a real shame as I would have loved to have known what happened at the end of Genteel Obsession. But DON'T let that put you off. Personally, I think it might be a lack of readers leaving reviews there, which is so discouraging. Even I have been disheartened with the very poor response my stories got there. Not like this site, eh...where it feels more like hearing from my favourite friends when I get a review... :)

Hello! You've come to this page because you'd like to know a little bit about me, huh?

Okay then!

Well I'm female, have been for as long as I can remember.

I live on a little island called England, which is nice.

My hobbies are reading, (fav author Agatha Christie, have all 78 of her crime novels!) crosswords, logic puzzle solving and cross-stitching! God, how boring does that sound? Lmao. Oh, I've even had a dabble at water colouring, but...I'll stick to story writing I think.

I love Final Fantasy, needless to say, and I have all the games except for #11, simply because I don't want to play on-line. My favourite one is #10, but only because they talk. The storyline is better on #7! And yay...I finally got my hands on a copy of Final Fanstasy #3!! How neat is that? Mind you, I had to sweet-talk my hubby into buying me a Ninedo Ds Lite just to get the game...He is sooo good to me. And, once Crisis Core hits our shores, I'll be kissing my way to a PSP too, lol...

My pet hate is flies. I can't stand them, they freak me out, yuk! And I prefer silver to gold...don't worry, long standing argument with my other half! About the only thing we ever argue about, lol.

Anyway, my latest craze, writing wise, is yaoi...I simply love it! Now, if I could only be as good as P. L. Nunn at it, I would be a happy author lol...I highly recommend her Bloodraven story...Still, if you read one of my yaoi stories, and you just happen to like it, please...feel free to leave me a review and say so...its all encouragement! And I do try to reply to each and every reviewer personally...unless you happen to be named Anon...I can never seem to find that person!
