Geez, what do normal people put on their profiles? Let's see...
I am 17, and I adore reading and theatre. I really have no life other than those 2 things right there. Oh, except for dance. Starting soon I'll be taking lots and lots of dance (though not as much as some...you know who you are...).
In college (and beyond, too, I suppose), I'd love to do theatre something. Maybe costume design, or stage management, or set design...something along those lines. In fact, I was passed on the legacy of Costume Goddess at my school, and now the pink hanger of Costume Goddess-ness hangs on a push pin on my wall. Yea, I know you're all jealous =).
I also love the idea of becoming an editor though, for novels or a newpaper (preferably novels). The idea was actually inspired by an all-human Twilight fanfiction where Bella was an editor. It was called Across the Airwaves, by Isabel0329. (Go look it up!! Its awesome. You know you want to...)
And now for something completely different - it has come to my attention that most people put their favorites on their profiles, so here goes nothing!
ALSO, I don't normally put these things on my profile (as is obvious by the lack of them) but I really liked this one. So here goes:
If you are mad at prince charming for leaving you single for so long, copy this to your profile.
For Harry Potter, my favorites are Harry/Ginny, James/Lily (I am completely addicted to this), Ron/Hermione (yea I'm kinda traditional...) except my guilty pleasure is Draco/Hermione...Some are just so cute!
As for Twilight, the only acceptable ones in my book are the ones in SM's books. I am Team Edward and proud, although I bear no harsh feelings toward Jacob. I do love a good Jacob imprint story.
In The Host, I am Wanderer/Ian all the way!! He is so sweet! Oh, and Kyle/Sunny. Sunny is just too sweet, I hope she sticks around.
In Tamora Pierce's books, I love Kel/Dom, Daine/Numair, both Alanna/Jon and Alanna/George, Aly/Nawat, and Beka/Rosto (haha no surprises there).
All of the Tortall books by Tamora Pierce (I'm not so into the Circle of Magic ones), Harry Potter, the Bloody Jack series by L. A. Meyer (If you haven't read them, you should), Mediator books by Meg Cabot, all Twilight books and The Host by Stephenie Meyer, The Secret History of the Pink Carnation and sequels by Lauren Willig (great historical fiction, if you're looking for some), The Giver by Lois Lowry, East by Edith Pattou, The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants series by Amy Brashares, City of Bones et al. by Cassandra Clare, and Annie Freeman's Fabulous Travelling Funeral by Kris Radish, among many others, too numerous to name (or remember).
I love most music, except for rap and country and screamo, but my favorites include Blue October, Train, Five for Fighting, Making April, Augustana, All American Rejects, and a bunch of random people I've heard but don't know the name of. I also have an embarrassing number of musical soundtracks on my iPod.
Hmmm...I have to say, I don't watch much TV anymore, but if I did, I'd watch Charmed (so sad it ended), Whose Line Is It Anyway, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, most stuf on TLC or Travel Channel, or Monty Python's Flying Circus.
Pirates of the Caribbean (all), Lion King(1 and 2), Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter(all, although the 3rd and 4th disappointed me), Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Italian Job, She's the Man, Rent, The Parent Trap (all time favorite cheer-me-up romantic comedy!! I can practically quote every line along with the actors), Ocean's 11, 12, and 13, 27 Dresses, Across the Universe, Made of Honor, Stardust, Mamma Mia...There's more, I know it, but they are escaping my mind as of now...
Spamalot, Wicked, Phantom of the Opera (But I hated the movie), Lion King, Seussical, also a lot of Shakespeare's stuf - Taming of the Shrew, Midsummer Night's Dream, As You Like It, Avenue Q (hilarious!), Rent, Jersey Boys (Bob was so cute!), Sweeney Todd, Legally Blonde, Chicago, Victor/Victoria, Cabaret, HAIR, and Mamma Mia.
OK, get ready, this may be a bit long...haha, just kidding. But I really do hate people walking slow in the hallways and taking up all the room.
And, on an unrelated note, unfinished stories bother me to no end. To find an awesome story, get all excited...and then look up and see it hasn't been updated for 4 years...yea, not the happiest feeling in the world. I understand being busy, but I'd appreciate it if authors would at least tell me that the story is abandoned, so I won't keep hoping.
Wow, where to start...I harbor a fondness for Jeremy from the comic strip Zits. It's funny, because my mom used to tell me, when I was younger, how annoying he was, and how she felt so sorry for his mother. But now that Jeremy and I are the same age (although he ages waaaaaay slower than I do) I relate to him much better than his mother. I also love the comics Pearls Before Swine, Red and Rover, Luann, and Get Fuzzy. I love comfy pajama pants, and fuzzy socks. I LOVE French, and I am such a nerd at school, where an unfortunate number of French students hate it. I hope to be fluent one day...I also love cats - I have 3 - and I am soon applying for college (yikes!).
Because this is a story to inspire all of us -- to make us realize that, when the armed robber of unhappiness knocks over the Keebler cookie display of our complacency, and bangs the samurai sword of negativity on the checkout counter of our dreams, we must not be afraid to hurl the fruit cocktail can of hope. At least that's how I see it. I have GOT to adjust these dosages.
Not all who wander are lost.

Curiosity killed the cat... but satisfaction brought it back!!
-I actually don't know, but it was mentioned in Trickster's Choice by Tamora Pierce.
Sometimes when I say I'm fine I want someone to look at me and say 'Tell the
-A bit depressing I know...anyway, I'm not sure who said this first.
Shoot for the moon, even if you miss you will land among the stars...
Never eat anything bigger than your head.
-common sense, or at least I sincerely hope so.
When life gives you lemons, make orange juice and let the world wonder how you did it.
You can't ferry the souls of the dead when you're sitting on land in a bucket.
-Moi!, in regard to Pirates of the Caribbean 3
The world's still the same. There's just...less in it.
Also pretty much anything ever said in a Monty Python sketch...gotta love 'em!
And if you've survived this long, congratulations!! I present you with a virtual cookie for putting up with my useless ramblings. Really, thats better than some friends of mine can manage (...kidding!). Anyway, thanks for bothering to spend your time reading this! I really didn't type all this for nothing. I do hope someone's read it. ~shrugs~ I guess I'll never know.
Keep writing, everyone! I wish I had your creativity. But since I don't, I guess I'll make do with reading the products of everyone else's imaginations. So, like I said, keep writing, so I can keep reading!
