Author has written 18 stories for Danny Phantom, Invader Zim, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Battlestar Galactica: 2003, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, Dollhouse, Doctor Who, and Supernatural.
My pen name used to be Leah Fenton, but now it's Twenty-Two Cents. Just because I felt like a change, and didn't think anyone would care. =)
Because I seem to always forget this lately, I'll just take care of everything here:
Disclaimer: I don't own anything I write about here. If I did, it wouldn't be fanfiction.
Important note!- I am inconsistent. Consistently. I write when I feel like it, and post when I feel like it. Because of this, I generally try to avoid writing multi-chapter stories, and if I do write them, I try to do so before I post them in the event that I lose interest or inspiration or just take months to finish it. But I don't always, and if you're following a multi-chapter endeavor that isn't complete, be aware that the progress will probably be sporadic at best. It'll still be worth reading, but it may just take months... or years... to conclude.
Also, everything I write is without a beta, so if you spot any grammatical errors or unforgivable mistakes, please message me or something and let me know about it. I'm not perfect, but that doesn't stop me from trying for immaculate grammar.
Hey Reviewers! Thanks for taking the time to read and review my stories. You've no idea how happy it makes me to see another email from FF.Net in my inbox telling me someone has reviewed one of my stories, or even favorited one! Also, some of the tips I've gotten have made me a better, more attentive writer. While I may not send messages or reply to reviews (I'm pretty terrible at keeping in contact with... well, anyone), please know that I really appreciate it. Thanks, guys. =)
"A Test of Integrity": Based on a little idea that popped into my head once.
"Identity Questions": Basically just written to experiment with first person muses.
"One of Those Days": Written to try my hand at multi-chapter action. Ended up showing me just how bad I am at consistent writing and posting.
"Filthy Earth Diseases!": I just loved the idea. And Invader Zim humor is so fun to write.
"Sacrifices": Yet another little idea that sprung up unexpectedly and blossomed into a short fic.
"The Cost of Laziness": A good idea that never quite made it out of my brain enough to be finished. 'Temporary Hiatus', my foot.
"It Wasn't Supposed To Happen This Way": Another experiment with first person muses, and a product of long-term PotC obsession. Definitely not my best work.
"The Smudged Beret": Another random idea, this time because I felt there wasn't nearly enough of Tucker in the Danny Phantom finale.
"The Christmas Confession": I blame the ever infamous 'Christmas spirit' that gets ahold of people around that time of year. And I was just feeling silly.
"Common Ground": Just one of the off-camera type things I think could have happened between episodes.
"Metal and Ashes": Gaeta just fascinates me. Not too pleased with the man they made him into from season 4.5 onward, but it sort of made sense. Anyway, I had several months in between episodes to think about this fic, and to create an insight into what that monumental disappointment must have felt like for my favorite Senior Officer of the Watch.
"Better This Way": I love Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. I love everything about it, from the silly songs to the dark irony that pervades the entire story. It was inevitable that a fanfic or two would pop out of my brain, and this one literally started with a random thought in the middle of the night- what if a future Billy/Dr. Horrible went back in time and rigged his own death ray to explode that day at the Caring Hands shelter? What if it wasn't an accident at all, but a prevention of a much worse fate?
"Cynic": This came from me wondering why Billy had never tried to be a hero to get his point across, and I think I came up with a pretty good reason.
"Terrorizing Topher": I really, really like Topher. I hadn't thought much of him until we got to see him out of his little scientific comfort zone in 1.08 and 1.10, but now he's my favorite thing about the show. I like seeing how he reacts to being pushed out of his box, and I think it makes him a fascinating character. This is just a little follow-up to one of my favorite parts of the show.
"The Gap": I love Harry Potter and have secretly always wanted to write about it, but I could never think of anything terribly original. I still can't, really, but I did manage to find a topic off the beaten path: Lily and Petunia's relationship, with possible one-sided Petunia/Snape. Thus, "The Gap" sprung to life, not as a particularly great piece of writing, but more as an interesting idea.
"Victorious": Doctor Who is my favorite show by far. The Doctor is the most awesome (and I mean that in the literal sense of the word) character I've ever encountered in a story- so complex, clever, and downright lovable. And can I just say how much I LOVED the idea of the Doctor as the Time Lord Victorious? That part was so haunting it gave me goosebumps, and it made me wonder, what would have happened if the Doctor had stopped Adelaide Brooke before it was too late? What if he hadn't been shocked out of his epiphany?
"Pain": There are few characters I love more than Dean and Sam Winchester. And there are few scenarios I love to write about more than brotherly interactions between them.
