Welcome to my humble internet abode! My name's Samantha, but you can call me Sam or MND, or anything else that pleases you.
i AM... odd and probably a freak. i AM... painfully shy but loud. i AM a nerd and i AM a daughter, a sister, a best friend, a Christian, a dreamer, an animal lover, a techie, and a writer. i AM a huge bookworm. i AM a firm believer in love and faith and friendship. i AM a firmer believer in the power of words... i AM in love with GOD and with writing. i AM who i AM and that's the way i'm going to stay.
Currently spazzing over: Two words. You know them well. DOCTOR WHO.

"It's impossible to discourage the real writers. They don't care what you say or do, they're going to write."-No clue
"I never want to see anyone, and I never want to go anywhere or do anything. I just want to write." -Some person
"One hasn't become a writer until one has distilled writing into a habit, and that habit has been forced into an obsession. Writing has to be an obsession. It has to be something as organic, physiological, and physcological as speaking or sleeping or eating." -Couldn't tell you
"A writer never has vacation. For a writer life consists of either writing or thinking about writing." -Some other person
NOTE: The posting of my first NCIS fic, "The Communist", on 9th, May, 2008 officially marks my FIFTIETH (that's right, folks, the big 5-0) fanfic here on my account! ISN'T THAT ACE?! This is big for me. I feel so accomplished.
...And moving on, now.
Fandoms that I read and write for (some more than others): Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings, Lost, Harry Potter, NCIS, Doctor Who ( those are my favourite, most visited/written for fandoms), Phantom Stallion, General Hospital, Fantastic Four, Grey's Anatomy, and more! WHOO!
For the most part, I write oneshots. But when I do try my hand at the occassional multi-chapter story, guess what? My chapter stories are always, always finished BEFORE I post even the very first chapter. So you can always count on me to finish any chapter story I post! HOW'S THAT FOR AWESOME?!
A confession to make, I have: it should suprise no one that my older stuff is pretty...ick. Not saying anything now is super amazing, but I try. At any rate, I hope it's better than what you would have read from me a year ago. I thank this very site and all the wonderful people on it for approving my writing a smidge. :)
If anyone cares to know, my muse's name is Frank Goodbar, and he's absolutely brilliant.
Currently working on:
-A retelling of LotR and the One Ring in--rhyming!--poem form. Since it is rhyming, it's taking a lot of time to tell the whole tale; it's slow work, you know. I think it's coming along quite nicely...but it's going to be a long time until completion! Status: Somewhere during the time when Pippin and Merry are with Treebeard. Have gotten a bit lost along the way, maybe I'll come back to it one day...
-The sequel to "Yesterday's Tomorrow", creatively dubbed "Tomorrow's Yesterday". Hah. It's going to be shorter than YT, probably only about ten chapters. Hopefully I finish/almost finish it before I've posted all of YT! Status: On chapter four. Most likely will remain unfinished. Sorry, loves.
-I really want to write a chaptered DW who fic; maybe I'll have something soon... :)

A link to my other profile, And You Thought You Knew Me, right here on good old FF.net; I have no idea why I have two fanfiction accounts, and I have no idea why I only use that account to post stories about McFly (in the "Just My Luck" movie fandom)... I just do.

I cannot even begin to thank all of you that have taken the time to read/review these little pieces of my heart. It means so, so much to me and as a reader and reviewer as well as I writer, I want to make sure the people that look at my writing are never underappreciated. After all, even professional writers would go nowhere if people didn't read their stuff.
So, to all of you that took the time to read or review the simple work of a teenager from Ohio, (-sniffs emotionally-), thanks so much, yeah? Cheers!
