So: as it turns out, I can't get links to work here -- probably something to do with the site not allowing outside links. Inconvenient, but I can deal with it. Instead of linking to the blog that follows my writing, I'll just direct you to it: if you'd like to check on new projects or the process of current projects, there is a tumblr devoted to this pen name. The tumblr url is, predictably: . If that's not your thing, I'm fairly available via PM.
Credit my icon photo to the artistic talents of Abby !!
Contact Me: PM. It's enabled for that exact reason. I'm relatively affable.
General Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters from NCIS, Star Wars, X-Men, Smallville (or DC Comics), Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Pirates of the Caribbean, or Law&Order: SVU. These characters are solely the intellectual and financial property of their creators. I do not profit from the stories posted here, nor do I seek to. I cannot claim to have created most of these excellent fictional specimens. I just play with them (and let's face it, torture them) in my free time. I do this for fun, to help my writing skills, and because it makes me happy.
a note on plagiarism: we are writers. we create and we imagine. we articulate stories through emotion and action painted with words. our words mean everything to us; they are taken from our souls and bled onto pages. if you cut someone else's words from a page, paste it onto your own, and claim it as your own, it means nothing. it is cold where it once had life; it is bland where it was once flavorful. plagiarism is unacceptable. it is artistic thievery--it is making a horcrux, marring a part of your author soul. devour your favorite words; appreciate them and love them--do not steal them. do not tarnish them by putting your name on them if they do not belong to you. as fanfiction writers, we should understand better than anyone how important it is to make sure that inspiration is acknowledged and that we don't trespass into dark territory by claiming something is ours that is not. give credit where credit is due.
do not plagiarize.
I published my first story in 2006 when I was thirteen years old. It was within the X-men fandom. This profile is a timeline of my work since then, and how I have improved as a writer. My early stuff remains available to those who supported me back then, and to remind me that writing is a lengthy process and the more you stick with it, the more you learn, and the better you become. I have since deleted my two first X-men fics, and began numbering fics after that (which is why, out of nostalgia, I ended up letting some of my more, er, unpolished work remain).
I currently "employ" (I use that word loosely, as the only thing I pay her in is manic texts and neurotic conversation) Mila, or Miss Mila, as Beta for a majority (99%) of my works.
She is a fantastic writer in her own right--so check out her work.

The following links have been disabled, because FF.N is not presently allowing links to outside sites. However, using tumblr to search the tags "acd-jibbs" should take you to them. If you're still having trouble, please let me know, I'll find a way to get you access. In fact, since I'm done with NCIS, I may simply post these as their own collection.
