The reason why I don't like you is because I love you.
The reason I don't want you is because I need you.
The reason I wouldn't cry if you left is because I would die if you left.
The reason I wouldn't live for you is because I would die for you.
The reason why I'm not willing to do anything for you is because I would do everything for you.
The reason I chose my life is because you ARE my life.

I found this fantastic list on the profile of 9ud9ir190ne6ad;
You know you live in 2007 when...
1.) You accidentally enter your password on a microwave.
2.) You haven't played solitaire with real cards for years.
3.) The reason for not staying in touch with your friends is they don't have a screenname or myspace.
4.) You'd rather look all over the house for the remote instead of just pushing the buttons on the TV.
6.) Your boss doesn't even have the ability to do your job.
7.) As you read this list you keep nodding and smiling.
8.) As you read this list you think about sending it to all your friends.
9.) And you were too busy to notice number 5.
10.) You scrolled back up to see if there was a number 5.
11.) Now you are laughing at yourself stupidly.
Put this in your profile if you fell for that, and you know you did! I certainly did!

Favorite fandom: Once Upon A Time
Favorite story: It's too difficult to choose. Out of the fics I've written, any with more than one chapter qualifies as a favorite. When it comes to other authors, just take a look at my favorites.
Favorite line: I honestly have no idea. There are too many fantastic ones to choose from. I'll give you the most poetic group of lines I've ever written, which come from my CSI twoshot: "When they pulled apart, they looked into each other’s eyes and saw something infinitely better than a fountain show- love. Unending, uncompromising, enduring love. And at that moment, they both realized an irrefutable truth. Fate brought them together, and destiny would keep them together. For the rest of their lives, their hearts would dance together, never slowing, and never stopping."
Writing music? Usually don’t listen to anything; screws with my concentration.
Hardest to write: Angst.
Easiest to write: Romantic relationships/dialogue.
Pet peeves in others’ writing: Bad spelling and/or grammar.
Prefer 1st, 2nd, or 3rd person? 3rd, in fanfiction, but 1st for novels and such.
Ever created a Mary Sue? -laughs at self- Yes, but that fic is no longer posted.
Which is hardest to write—beginning, middle or end? Middle, because I always know how I want my fics to start, and how I want them to end, but I have trouble getting from point A to point B.
Best thing about writing/being a writer: Other people telling you that reading your work made them happy.
Worst thing about writing/being a writer: Time constraints when attempting to complete fics.
Writing—hobby or addiction? Hobby.
Longest case of writer’s block: Oh, geez. I was stuck on this one story for more than a year (I eventually took it down from the site)…but I don’t go more than a couple of weeks without getting a new idea, even though I don’t always write them down.
Thanks to L'ange de Vie, whose profile I used to copy the questions. I'm glad I was able to answer them, they made me feel more confident in my abilities as a fanfiction writer. At least I know what I'm doing!
And now, for the pillars of my life, my favorite TV shows:
The following responses are ordered from the most recent to the oldest.
I suppose I should comment on Booth and Brennan's romantic relationship. I think the pregnancy accomplished what TPTB were going for - avoiding the dating stage of a relationship. Seeing Booth and Brennan going out to dinner and a movie wouldn't have really done it for me. Them dating would have gotten boring fast. Christine Angela is precious, and I love seeing them as a happy family, but I honestly think TPTB are neglecting the procedural aspects of the show. I'll give them a grace period to figure out a balance between family fluff and forensic drama, but they need to make sure Bones doesn't stray too far from what it started off as.
I am sooo happy I can't believe it! Angela and Hoggins' baby is healthy and now there's a BB baby on the way. Also, TPTB can't mess with the pregnancy too much, because Emily Deschanel is pregnant in real life. It would be odd for Brennan to miscarry but have an increasingly round belly. I swear, though, if the baby has any serious physical or mental defect, I will hunt down TPTB and...well...maybe I should just try to stay positive.
Ding dong the witch is dead! The wicked witch! The mean old witch! Ding dong the wicked witch is dead! Okay, so, not exactly dead, but close enough. I think I felt bad for Booth for about a second, then I realized how incredibly happy I was. Plus, last week's episode, "The Blackout in the Blizzard," gave me more hope for this show than I've had for a LONG time. I hope the dates they wrote down aren't too far off! ;)What can I even say about the show's current state? My feelings have been completely reversed. I now feel awful for Brennan and angry at Booth. He has completely changed. Sure, she made a huge mistake, but I've never seen Booth so callous. I really hope everything works out, but I'm honestly not sure. Spoilers have Booth proposing to Hannah in an early 2011 episode. I don't know what's running through TPTB's minds anymore. I guess they're probably trying to keep the show going (because they believe getting Booth and Brennan together will end the show), but they are going about it the wrong way (at least in my opinion).
The 100th episode was absolutely heartbreaking. It developed so much hope, and then... Over the years it appeared that Brennan was changing, but her rejecting Booth's advance illustrated what everyone feared - she hasn't REALLY changed. Not in any way that matters. Never before were they so close...so close to having one of the most remarkable relationships of all time. Now it's even harder to cope with them not being together, because no longer are they both denying their feelings - it's just Brennan. And Booth's giving up - he's moving on - but he can't! He has to keep trying, he has to have faith that eventually she'll realize he's right and their astounding connection will evolve into an almost incomprehensible love. And to top it off, they didn't even part ways after her rejection - they walked off together, her head resting upon his shoulder and his head upon hers! I don't know how much farther the writers think they can push us, but I'm almost at my breaking point. Especially since spoilers show that not only does Booth start dating a woman they meet on one of their cases, Brennan continues seeing Andrew. That's what I hate - she'll turn down Booth, an amazing, loving man who wants to spend the rest of his life with her, but she'll date Andrew! She wants a relationship - but an empty one. A hollow one. Maybe she is a cold fish. I've never been so angry with her. And I've never felt so truly awful for him. If TPTB don't work this out...they'll soon lose a long dedicated fan.
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
I got hooked on CSI from watching one repeat on Spike. I now own seasons one through seven. Fellow viewers (and Sara Sidle fans) understand why I didn't watch most of season eight. Grissom/Sara is my ship of choice.
I'm so happy that Sara survived! GOD BLESS TPTB FOR GIVING GRISSOM AND SARA THEIR WELL DESERVED HAPPY ENDING AND BRINGING SARA BACK!
This show was a central figure in my world for over five years, and now, in my eyes, it's gone. However, out of respect and appreciation for those who have followed my House works, and the time and effort I put into them, I will leave them posted.
Here are some of my feelings on the show throughout the final seasons I watched:
Short list of things I don't like;
Cameron's personality transplant
The sudden, unexpected twist from House/Cam moments to House/Cuddy and Chase/Cameron moments
The formulaic tendencies
The Chase/Cam "relationship" (it makes Cameron seem bitchy and Chase seem needy)
The character/actor problems; the characters have become cliches of their first season selves, it's like their most notable traits went into overdrive and made everything they say sound incredibly rehearsed, whereas in a good show, the actors don't seem to be acting, when they are on the screen, there isn't a clear distinction between themselves and who they are portraying.
The plot problems; instead of introducing a new person that stays on for an entire season, or creating a recurring plot line, they have plot-arcs that end just as randomly as they began, resolving and changing nothing. Also, the "blond vegan," she was so insignificant to the show, that when she was brought up in conversation, I didn't know who the other person was talking about. She was just meant to confuse and annoy the audience, perhaps intrigue as well, but an irrelevant character is the lowest, least creative way to keep viewers tuning in.
Seeing as how that rant was about season three, I suppose it's time for me to complain about season four;
I. Hate. Thirteen. She's just a clone of third season Cameron. And now there's a ship for House/Thirteen. Gag. I miss Cameron, and even Chase, as strange as that seems. House and Cameron have such natural chemistry, it's so cruel to split them up! At least, my House/Cameron shipper mind believes so. Ugh...I just...I don't want to watch it, but it's become a habit. I can complain all I want but the truth is...I'll probably watch the show to the very end, even if I hate it. Sad, isn't it?
Here's something to give you an idea of how much I talked about my dislike of the status of House during seasons three and four. One night, at an end of the summer sleepover, my friends and I were playing Apples to Apples, and a friend of mine gave me these fantastic quotes without even thinking about it;
(After I read a card saying "Casual- easygoing, blase, nonchalant") "How about Cameron and Chase's sex life?"
(After I read only the word "Easy" from a card, keep in mind this was the only word read) "Cameron"
Hope you liked those- I got a great laugh out of them.
Okay, so it's not so bad. I just had to get that out of the way. Getting to see Chase and Cameron again has been fantastic, and their relationship no longer bothers me, now that it's more than just a sexual arrangement. Though I wouldn't mind a House/Cameron relationship if it were to develop, I don't care nearly as much as I used to. In fact, I'm convinced that she deserves better. Cameron is even back to normal! She's intelligent, caring, and confident, but not arrogant and mean. I was also absolutely floored when she solved a case. For those of you who weren't paying attention, she came up with the final diagnosis for the hostage case.
I still don't approve of House/Cuddy, but you never know what changes time may bring. At first I still disliked the new team, but as I watch them more, I'm beginning to warm to them- even (stunningly) Thirteen (refer to previous rant to see why this is stunning). The cases are interesting too, so it's shaping up to be an entertaining season. TPTB better not let me down!
Well, what can I say? I started the season with such high hopes. Chase and Cameron were back, sparks were flying, everything was as it should be! Then Chase killed a patient and all of my optimism for the season imploded. From the destruction of the Chameron relationship to the continuation of the Huddy arc, season six ended up being nothing that I wanted. Moments ago, I watched Cameron leave PPTH. Her speech was beautiful and heartbreaking. The loss of my most beloved character is, after all of the trials and tribulations of the past three seasons, the reason I will no longer be watching the show. As she admitted, Cameron loved House, and she loved Chase. As said, "I'm sorry for you both. For what you've become, because...there's no way back for either of you." True fans of Cameron loved her through every season, and I know we're all sorry for the show, because there's no way back from what it has become.
Series finale: Yes, I watched it. Simply because I knew Jennifer Morrison had a cameo in it. While I don't think the episode was flawless by any means, I think it was a fitting send-off. And, of course, I was delighted to see Cameron get a happy ending.
Once Upon A Time:
I cannot express how deeply I love this show. It's so much fun to have a true TV obsession again. Everything about it, from the plots and dialogue to the special effects and costumes is exquisite. Such exceptional television. I've watched every episode (some more than once), and I have had too many emotions, theories, and opinions along the way to remember and express them all right now. But definitely expect updates (and perhaps some fics) in the future.
I also enjoy: Law & Order: SVU, Covert Affairs, Will & Grace, and most of the shows from Fox's Sunday night line-up.
Other tidbits about me:
My favorite books: Kathy Reichs' Temperance Brennan series, Patricia Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta series, Tess Gerritsen's Rizzoli and Isles series, The Other Boleyn Girl, and The Hunger Games trilogy.
I love so many movies, but the favorites that come to mind are: Love Actually, The Matrix, The Princess Bride, Stardust, and WALL-E.
My music taste is all over the place, but right now I'm addicted to my Mumford & Sons Pandora station. And who doesn't love Adele?
I grew up in a suburb with my wonderful parents and my pet Shih Tzu. I am a quintessential good girl - no drinking, smoking, or drugs for me. I stress easily and am very hard on myself, but I do my best to stay calm and work hard. I'm on the computer a lot; I enjoy writing and reading fanfics and spending time on Tumblr (find me there as stress-cupcake). I love working with children and spend have spent many summers providing some form of childcare as a camp counselor or nanny. I am a member of Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity and a psychology major. I plan to continue on to graduate school, earn my PhD, and practice child and adolescent psychology.
That's all I can think of to say, so thanks again for stopping by and I hope you enjoy my little stories. :)
