Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter. 'ello all! t'is I, t'is I; LadyOfTheGreyDawn 8/28/08- Ack!! I wish people would learn what 'childe' accually means!! They assume that it is the word a vampire would use in place of 'child' , but it's not! The word 'childe' is middle english, means "child of noble birth", and is pronounced the same as 'child'. It can and is used as a term describing vampire offspring, but this is okay, as vampires come off as proud and a little vain and would think of any of their offspring as of 'noble birth'. It just annoys me when people use it in the wrong context. Did you know that salami has, like, 100 times the amount of the compounds that create a feeling of well-being found in chocolate? --this is a little smuge of proof that I watch way too many documentaries. 8/18/08- Hello to all my loyal and nonexistent fans! To my great joy, I have discovered a way to write my multi-chapter story without a beta (they scare me, I seriously have nightmares)! I will write a bunch of chapters right-off-the-bat, then let them stew for a few days, and then maybe I'll be able to read them without cringing (I truly am my own worse critic). You people are weird! I posted Puppet at about 11 last night, and it already has more hits than Excerpt, and I posted that a week ago! Also, I don't feel like I did all that great of a job on Puppet; I was kinda out of it when I wrote it. But, whatever floats your boat! Hmm... maybe I'll make a habit of posting something every Sunday night. School starts tomorrow, so that might make things difficult. (I hate my new english teacher! He doesn't work to inprove students' writing, he just teaches us sentence diagramming, makes us read Lord of the Flies, and then it's Greek mythology and the Holocaust for the rest of the year! I know this beacuase I have friends that have taken his class, and he never changes it!) About me: Name: Dawn (not really, but for the sake of being left alone in the real world, let's say it is. If you really, really want to know, just look at my e-mail adress.) Hair: dirty blonde, hinting of an even dirtier mind! (wink wink, nudge nudge) Eyes: blue-green Mood: generally happy, except when I'm PMSing, then not so happy Gender: Female Age: 16 Me: sits next to my friend's boy friend "I love you." Friend's Boyfriend: glances nervously at his girlfriend "I'm taken!" Me: "oh" sighs softly in regret Friend's BF: gestures to one of my single, male friends "You can have him." Me: stares thoughtfully at single-male-friend's gangly form "No." sighs again Friend's BF: "Rejected!" Me: turns to friend "By the way, your boyfriend and I are sneaking around behind your back." pause "I'll be your privet investigator if you want me to; I promise to catch him in the act!" Me: attempts to throw arm around another one of my single, male friends who is taller than poor, short me "Dude... I LOVE your neck beard!" My writing is better than some, worse than others, and I'm really hard on myself, so I'll let you make your own opinions. I'm obsessive with getting dates and events right in the fiction that I write. (I know a ton of random crap about certian dates now). Because I write Harry Potter fanfiction, this is made hard by the fact that I own only; the first two books on tape, and paperback copies of 4, 6, and 7, but I've read the other books so many times that most of the books are ingrained in my memory forever. Updates for any of my stories I post here will most likely be sporadic because after I posted what was originally going to be the prologue to a multi-chapter story, I had a panic attack; worrying that people would ask me to do things with the story that I don't want to do, but will do any way, 'cause I'm a people pleaser, and that the original point of the story would be lost. Sorry folks, but if you want an update you're going to have to waint (Would some one please tell me when wait gained a 'n'? I almost always spell it like that, and I know it's wrong!) for me to calm down. What do the Harry Potter Adults think of you? (My Quiz results) Albus Dumbledore tries to like you but doesnt trust something about you. "Ambition is the last refuge of failure."~Oscar Wilde. I love this quote!! It makes me laugh, think of the Slytherins! |
