My Discontinued Stories:
I'm thinking about taking them down, since I haven't given any of them attention in at least three years now.
I've already taken down Shades of Grey, which I haven't touched since late 2007 and haven't looked at in almost as long. It was rebooted years ago by Lord Orion Leonis Black - who now goes by Don.I am the King - under the title Dragon Lord, so people can just read that, although it doesn't look like the reboot has been updated in a long time either.
I was originally going to reboot A Life of Rebellion, but I'm not particularly thrilled with anything I've written for the reboot, so I'm not going to bother. Most of what I've come up with has already been done to death by others who have written Dark!Harry stories anyway.
I'm definitely done with Denying Fate and have been for years. I might one day reattempt the Azkaban!Harry plot, but for now I'm leaving it alone.
Anyway, both are still getting added to favorite and alert lists - they might even be getting reviews for all I know - and I feel bad about that, because they haven't been updated in about seven years now and I have no plans to update them. If you don't want me to take them down, let me know by private message. If I don't hear from anyone by June, they're gone.
My Complete or Current Stories:
There isn't much to say about most of them. I originally intended on writing more Book 6 stories, but I'm going to leave them as a trilogy. I also originally intended on writing more for Embracing the Present, but it takes place in the fifth year and I'm already working on a fifth year story, so I left it as a one-shot. I might eventually write a third one-shot for that, but at the moment I have no plans for it. For now, if you even care, consider them all finished with. I'm still willing to allow others to continue from where EtP left off, if anyone's interested.
The rebooted Regaining Hope is still underway. As I've implied before, it will have similarities to the original (which I might leave up just for nostalgia's sake, even though I don't much like it, looking back), but will otherwise be a brand new story with the same name, complete with a few plot devices I hope to re-imagine. I'll start posting the completed chapters after I have a few more finished. Six isn't quite enough.
Since I've actually been asked about this one by a few people, I'll say that I am indeed writing one-shots that follow Negligentia. You can call them sequels if you want. Absque, previously titled Praeveni, is one of them and, if I can keep my interest up, might even be posted sometime in the next few weeks. I've enjoyed fiddling with that specific plot and may even one day tackle it from a different angle. Of course, if you didn't like Negligentia, you probably won't like any of the other stories I write in its universe. Fair warning: this will not be a quick process. In fact, don't expect more than, on average, one fic per year with this universe.
I also dabble with other ideas. It's quite difficult to ignore an idea once it's firmly in your head, after all. The current ones will probably be the focus of my attention for the time being, but I'll eventually finish post Absque. One of them, The Lost Woods, is a Legend of Zelda fic that follows the Hero of Time arc and takes place several years after Majora's Mask. The second, Ipsius, is the only Fem!Harry story I've tried or will ever try and takes place during Book 6, using as many canonical details as I can tie together to make an AU, plus some other elements that make it so I can't recommend it to minors. The third, Somewhere I Belong, is a three-shot I started writing a few days after posting Negligentia and then promptly forgot about for months, so I'll spend some time on that as well.
