Author has written 64 stories for Supernatural, Andromeda, and Smallville.
UPDATED: 15th April 2013
I am 50 years young and a fan of the show Supernatural... yes even at my age!
Although I am currently studying for my MA in Writing, and have decided to do a graphic novel for my major piece of work, I have decided to take a break from studying, and intend on finishing early next year.
I live in Australia, single and no kids - just me and my dog now, Rusty is an Australian terrier, a totally pampered pooch! Nothing changed here!!
I enjoy writing fanfiction as a side line to my novel and studies... and will try to post more regularly...
I am currently editing a finished manuscript for an ebook on Lulu.com and will be up for sale very soon... oohh nerve wracking, it is a thriller set here in Australia, I have two more ready for editing so I am hoping that they will be ready very soon. On the back burner for a while sadly but not giving up with them.
Favourite actors: Kevin Sorbo, Kevin Costner, Kevin Smith (New Zealand actor passed over), Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Tom Welling, Heath Ledger (Tragically passed on), Keanu Reeves, Nathan Fillion, Jean Claud Van Damme, Charles Mesure, Richard Dean Anderson, and many more...
So far I have met and spent time with Kevin Sorbo here in Australia, and more recently met Jared at SupaNova Expo 2008, sigh...He is a cutie.
AND more recently in 2009 I got to meet Jared again, Jensen, and Misha at the All Hell Breaks Loose Australian Convention in Sydney, at the cocktail party and the 2 day convention. They are all they seem on the show and much, much more, I have never, ever laughed as much as what I did for that entire weekend.
I got a chance to work as a volunteer for Armageddon Melbourne last year and loved it, very different behind the scenes, am gonna do it again this year ... so might see ya there!!
Favourite movies: Kull the Conquorer, Gladiator, Serenity, The Matrix series, Cry Wolf, Last Chance Cafe, Dances With Wolves, Revenge (actually all of Kevin Costner's movies) The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Constatine, Sin Eater, Ned Kelly, A Knight's Story, and too many more to mention here...
Favourite TV Shows: Supernatural, Smallville, Jake 2.0, SG1 and Atlantis, Quantum Leap, Numbers, All Saints (Australian), Andromeda, Hercules The Legendary Journeys, Firefly, NCIS, House, Kyle XY, Angel, Blood Ties, Gene Simmons Family Jewels (it's a laugh and yes I am a KISS fan and saw them here in Australia cough, 29 years ago) and many more...
Favourite Authors: Currently, Laurell K Hamilton, (Anita Blake series, and the Merry Gentry Series), Sherrilyn Kenyon (Dark Hunter series), Christine Feehan (Carpathian series), Kelley Armstrong and others ... Currently reading Christine Feehan's Dark Magic.
I am a shocker at replying to reviews and I am going to really try and rectify that this year, but I would like to place a blanket and heartfelt thanks to all of those who take the time to review my stories, I take each and every comment to boost my enthusiasm for writing fanfiction, especially Supernatural.
I am an avid reader of other writers and will try and do more reviews myself this year as well...
Having said that the last piece of dribble here is a blanket disclaimer: I have no claim to Supernatural, the actors, characters or plot lines. I only borrow them and then send them home, more or less in one piece.
Just remember that no matter which brother we love, and for whatever reason that we do, it is a TV show and the boys need our support not our derrision.
Fanfiction, is just that fiction, stories are products of imagination and not reality, thank the writers for giving their precious time and talent to us and not berate them for what they write. For without the writers we would not have FanFiction.
On a personal note - Just bear with me, I will be updating as often as I can. Remember to love those closest to you and never take anyone or anything for granted.
Another personal note - I have received very hurtful reviews by people who like to hide behind the anonymous reviews and disabled PM for replies. I accept that everyone has a right to their own opinions and that my writing will not suit everyone but it is so cowardly to send personal attacks not only at me but at the people who do like the way I write and take the time to leave me reviews by calling them retards, it is offensive, cruel and just reprehensible.
Adding to my above note, I recently received reviews from a "guest" about two of my stories Two Hunters and a Baby and Cave In. Now I understand not that everyone will like my stories but to leave a comment such as they did belittling me for writing the baby the way I did in 2 hunters and a baby and using the comment "don't you have kids" is uncalled for and unfortunately because they hid behind anon reviewing I couldn't answer it privately so I'm just going to say this. ALL children and babies are different, the baby in the story is a magical baby to start with and also I'm not sure who you are, how old you are or where you live BUT I do know that although I cannot have children due to a physical condition and had suffered through numerous miscarriages trying to get pregnant I am surrounded by my nieces and nephews, 3 of which I helped raise and now my niece's children, in fact my niece's youngest who is now 11 mths old WAS clapping at five months, he was also patting your face while giving mushy kisses. ALL children are different and to lump them all together is ridiculous. ALSO with Cave In, if you found it so bad why read all of it??? And again all children are different I know children older than 12 who still call their dad's daddy and even some adults so please refrain from generalising. I'm glad that your 12 year old is different, if they were all the same then the world would be a very sad place.
I am sorry that you didn't enjoy the stories, I know I cannot please everyone and try to cater to all tastes but if you leave comments like that and do not give me a chance to respond in private then I will air my grievance's here.
I am also going to continue to write babies the way I want to write them not the way you assume, and I do believe in season 6 when Dean and Sam had to look after the shapeshifting baby Dean did not take to looking after the baby like a natural born dad he became better as the episode went on. Dean was four years old when Sam was born, yes he helped raise Sam as they both got older but when Sammy was six months old Dean was four now I know a lot of advanced kids but I do not see a 4 year old being a daddy substitute.
Sorry for my rambling but one of my pet peeves is people making assumptions about me without knowing me and then hide behind anonymous reviewing...
Live for today, love those who need your love and look for good in a battered old world.
Well that's about it for now.
Hope you enjoy my stories and please if you would like to review constructively and without malicious intent then I would love to hear from you and I will endeavour to answer them ...
A heartfelt apology: This is my latest addition to my profile after deciding to leave my above ramble for future reference for anyone critical of the way I write...and hide behind anonymous reviews...
Anyway getting on with my apology, this is to all of my faithful and constant readers and reviewers for being so inconsistent with my updates and amount of stories I am working on. Please bear with me for a little longer but I will get my act together.
The last few months have been trying and emotionally draining, a good friend of mine lost her partner in a senseless accident late last year, this weekend my niece's husband lost his older brother in another tragic accident and though these are tragedies that should have never happened the hardest for me has been my own mother's death just a month ago. She fought cancer for the last six years after defying the doctors and the odds in surviving after her initial diagnosis and then to go on for so many more years. She passed away suddenly from a complication with the cancers, within 24hrs of her second admission to hospital over a long weekend she was gone, I lost one of my best friends and my surviving parent. To say that I am lost is an understatement, someone told me at the funeral that at least I had my mother for 50 years, (she died one month to the day after my 50th birthday), I am torn on accepting that thought, I'll work through it...
So again I am sorry for taking so long in updating and getting my mojo back but I promise I will...
Remember to love those closest to you and never take anyone or anything for granted.
