Is it travel you're after? Adventure? Romance?

There's books to enthrall you, and books to entrance.

Books full of heroes, from Apollo to Zeus.

Books to inspire, and books to amuse

Books bound in leather, gold-embossed hide.

Cheap penny-dreadful, to be read in one night.

Books to read slowly, to savor the text.

Books to skim over, to see what comes next.

A book to curl up with, in bed late at night

A book to read early, at the first dawn of light.

A book from the library is key to success

An unreal adventure, a magical quest.

From the sonnets of Shakespeare, to the voyage of Cook

A new world awaits you, when you reach for a book.

" I opened a book and in I strode.

Now nobody can find me.

I've left my chair, my house, my road,

My town and my world behind me.

I'm wearing the cloak, I've slipped on the ring,

I've swallowed the magic potion.

I've fought with a dragon, dined with a king.

And Dived in a bottomless ocean.

I opened a book and made some friends.

I've shared their adventure, been there and back again.

I cried their tears and laughed their laughter.

To their end, their happily ever after.

I finished my book and out I came.

My chair and house are just the same.

The adventure is over, the stories been told.

But I'll carry it with me, along every road.

The ring or cloak can no longer hide me

But I have a book inside me"

I'd love to hear from you about what you thought of my fiction, it really is the fuel that drives the train.

My favorite works are Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. I love the books, I love the movies, I love the world fanfiction created using them.

I've a multi-fic story coming for LOTR. She's a whopper and I've got the framework laid out, just filling in chapters now.

In the interim, if you have a plot bunny (plunny) running around in your head, I'd love to hear about it, see if I can't whip something up. I haven't ventured outside of these two worlds yet in my writing but you never know :)
