Hmmm...what to say about me? I am female, a college graduate with a degree in Behavioral and Social Sciences, currently unemployed, and i emanate a mysterious and uncontrollable force that attracts every cat within a two-mile radius to my doorstep.
The story behind my username. I was a big fan of the Samurai Jack series back when it was still on Cartoon Network. Oh, its been so long ago! :( Anyone who knows Samurai Jack will remember the episode where Aku tries to get the children of Central Hub, who misguidedly worship the Samurai, to take his side by telling them fairytales. Fairytales that he takes great creative liberties with by making himself the Hero and Jack the Villian. Little Red Hood was one of the characters that Aku made up, sort of a demonic version of Little Red Riding Hood.
"Once there was a little girl with GREAT FLAMING EYEBROWS!!" -- Aku
I am extremely irritated by the fact that Samurai Jack was never finished and this will haunt me till the day I see a live-action Samurai Jack movie or an animation straight-to-video that completes the story. Then again, if Jack never makes it home then my lord Aku will reign victorious! HAHAHA!!!
The second Aliens movie, the truly awesome one that James Cameron directed. As far as I'm concerned the ones that came after don't exist. They completely ruined everything the writers had built up, stupidly killed off a bunch of major characters, and even killed off Ripley but then said hey let's bring her back as a psycho clone. Idiotic. End rant.
I like almost everything James Cameron has directed. I like almost everything Tim Burton has directed, but his remake of Planet of the Apes wasn't that great. I like Stephen Spielburg ( I know I did not spell his last name right.) I like some of Quentin Tarentino's stuff. Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, From Dusk Til Dawn. Oh, and I can't leave out Hellboy. I love the movies and the comics they're based on. The Dark Knight (R.I.P. Heath Ledger, your death was a loss for the world), Batman Begins, The Lord of the Rings books and movies, The Big Lebowsky, Being John Malkovich (don't ask), Beowulf 2007, plus many more that I don't have time to list here.
