Do you go by Nick or Kaya?

I used to go by Kaya. It was a pen name I was very fond of, and a compromise I had made with my mom a while ago that I'd use an online anonymous name when writing fanfiction. I used Kaya for a very long time. However, in recent years, I've begun going by Nick as it's the name I now prefer as a transmale individual.

What are you currently working on?

Right now, my main focus is Tucker Ghouly, Winter Flowers and Fishing for Ghosts. Backburner fanfictions (fanfictions I am slowly working on but are somewhat low priority) is reworking all my old fanfictions, various oneshots and unpublished works. I have also been working on and off with two fellow authors on fanfiction projects (both currently unpublished).

As it stands now, I now have a strict rule for myself of publishing no more new works unless they are specifically already finished. This rule will be applied until all old fanfictions have been finished.

Is (insert fanfiction here) discontinued?

It may take me a long, long time and a re-write later, but I really, really truly do want to finish every single fanfiction I've begun. As now, I am in the process of rewriting many unfinished fanfictions, and am slowly working on not just rewriting them, but properly figuring out the story so that they truly can be eventually finished. Some already completed fanfictions, like Ghost 101, I'd also really like to go back and rewrite in general, but this will be saved for once everything incomplete is done.

I'm very sorry. I just have no more interest in them nor any interest in trying to rework the stories at this current time. Maybe in the future some of the ideas will be scrapped into other fanfictions, but please don't hold much hope for it.

Will you betaread for me/co-write something with me?

I'm very sorry, but as of now, I cannot commit to being anybody's betareader, especially for long term projects. As for co-writing, I am definitely down to discussing it.

Of course! The "rules" for the challenges and the God if I owned Danny Phantom are mostly just guidelines and suggestions. I'm not that strict with the rules, and I'm not going to come down flaming if you changes or put your own flare on it. For challenges, it's mainly more specifics I'd personally like to see or some extras if you want more of a "challenge", but you can take it any direction you really wish. With the GIIODP challenge, as long as I can tell it's still Danny Phantom, I'm mainly cool with whatever.

I want to make fanart/borrow an OC/continue a oneshot.

You are free to make fanart if you'd like! It'd make my world! Continuing a oneshot or borrowing an OC is typically okay, but please PM me first anyway to ask about it!

Did you delete (insert fanfiction)?

Probably, probably not. If it's a pre-2012 fanfiction, then probably yes. I now have a personal rule that I will never delete a fanfiction. I know what it's like to have a fanfiction you like be deleted, and for some reason, some of my stuff may be somebody's favorite or something they like. I will sit here and accept my shameful, shitty past fanfictions.

(Insert criticism about an old fanfiction)

PLEASE remember that I began writing fanfiction, and wrote a good majority of them, when I was thirteenish. I was terrible then. At the time of this writing (1/18/19) I am 24 now. It's been ten years. I've gotten better, I promise. I am mortified and hate most of my old fanfictions. I know they're terrible. I only keep them to tie in with the previous statement. You don't need to critique them, I'm looking more for the more current ones. Please check the publication date before you criticize. I've received some criticism like "why didn't Danny use his ice powers in this situation" or "Dani's been stabilized, why is she melting" and the answer is simply that the fanfiction was written before Danny got those powers, that episode came out, these things occurred, etc. I've been at this game for well over half of my literal life, my dudes. Danny Phantom was still originally airing when I began writing fanfiction for it.

Where are you?

I'm a full time working adult. When I began writing fanfiction for DP in 2006, I was just a baby in middle school, but now I've got like, a college degree and adult responsibilities and stuff. It's fucking wild, man. I may just be busy. I do try to write and update and am slowly working on updating old works too.

May I contact you outside of fanfiction?

Of course! You're free to ask me for steam, discord, tumblr, etc in a PM. I am also under AO3 under the same user, so if you prefer AO3, you can go and find me there. However, I update fanfiction and AO3 at the exact same time and all the content is the same, so it's really just a matter of what format you prefer.

2/25/19: I'm so sorry, but I had to put a LOT of fanfictions on official discontinued status. I really wish I could finish them, but due to limited time and a lack of interest, I just can't find myself wanting to finish them. Like I said in my FAQ, I probably will carve them for some ideas for future stuff. I also deleted Ghost 101's sequels. I'm so sorry, but they were Bad, and I want to rewrite Ghost 101 anyway, and as it stands, the rewrite breaks the canon of the sequels, and I also straight up Hated them lmao plus they were just...so bad guys.

6/25/18: I live yo

3/74/17: Same as below. I still see messages and reviews, and I have been working on fanfictions in my own spare time. I want to complete them before I post them, because I know it's probably very frustrating to see me coming and going with little plans and such.

3/11/16: *nervous jazz hands in the distance as I try so hard* I really don't want to try and keep coming back with no plan and almost constantly play with emotions as if I'm teasing you that I'm back until I have something done or something started that I know with 100% certainty that I will finish.

4/1/15: I'm back! And no, this is not an April Fool's Day joke.

6/13/14: Fanfiction is a bitch and deleted all of my hard work for all of my fanfictions in the document. Lesson fucking learned.

5/8/14: I swear I'm not dead and I swear I'm writing up the final touches on the next chapter of Mind Sweep
