Name's Hylian Shadow. I'm 32 and a videogame fan, especially of the Legend of Zelda series. I also love to write. I'm sure you can see where this is going. I'm not really sure what else to say here.

Future Hyrule is being completely rewritten. Same basic plot, same characters (more or less), but done better and including things that should've been there the first time, in my opinion. The original version is being left up because I know a lot of people enjoy it and because the new version is so different that a lot of what exists in the old version doesn't exist in the new and vice versa. The new version greatly expands on events and characters, and overall, the rewrite should be more consistent. Also includes more Dark Link and a new POV character.

Aside from the rewrite situation, I haven't abandoned Face Behind the Mask either. I've just been focused on the rewrite. I can't say when it will be updated, but I can say that I haven't forgotten about it.

The Face Behind the Mask: A silly rumor about a strange TV channel shows Link a power he never realized he had. Everyone has a face he shows the world, as well as a face he hides from everyone else. For Link, those two faces are one and the same. He never realized that a smile could be armor before...

Future Hyrule: Courage Never Dies: Time erodes fact into myth, but there's truth behind every legend. The seemingly peaceful kingdom of Hyrule has a dark past, and when that past rears its ugly head once again, it's up to a historian with a greater link to the legends than he ever imagined, a soft-spoken mage who knows more than he lets on, and a lone shadow who remembers that which time forget to stop those who wish to change the course of history forever. The life of a hero is so much more complicated than the legends ever said.
