Author has written 3 stories for Elder Scroll series, Destiny, Harry Potter, and Rising of the Shield Hero/盾の勇者の成り上がり. I'm totally gonna be one of those authors who never finish their stories. My Pa's Axe: Probably going to happen at some point. I still like my concept and eventually I'll do it properly. No the MC will not be the Dragonborn. He might hookup with them, or be their friend, but he ain't gonna be rewriting reality when he's angry. Unless I feel like sticking him on a mountain for ten years. Unlikely. Also TES lore is deep. Don't wanna accidentally get summat wrong. Rise of The Crayon Eater: I love the concept for this, and I love what I did for the first chapter, it set his and his Ghost's character well; it also put in a bunch inside jokes for Destiny lovers. However, I loathe the idea of writing stories with game elements, elements which Rise of the Shield Hero most definitely does. Sure, I could ignore that side of it, but then I feel like I wouldn't be doing the crossover justice. If at some point I feel like sitting down and writing/planning my whole system and what the MC will get, what he can do with it, how flexible it is etc. I'll do it. But I probably won't, it just gives me a headache thinking about it. Chapter 2 is already like half done, but I got to the part where the status comes up and I realised how much work would have to go into it. Yeah, nah. Massive respect to people who right good Gamer stories though, the amount of effort must be commendable. Can We Like, Not Have a War Please?: A Harry Potter story. Never thought I'd actually do one. My main focus atm, I want to do it justice; add to the fact it's in the Marauders' era so I have to make up most of it. Currently re-doing chapter one. Not happy with original and the current version already exceeds the original's word count. |
