"You really need to autograph everything you give me, cos really, someday you'll be in a little white straightjacket with zero mobility and you shan't be able to do so."
-My friend Christie, who is really just as deranged as I am.
According to the editor, I last updated this profile in December 2009.
As of now, February 2013, I am a junior in college, studying biology (or, as I call it, majoring in Hey! Look at this Animal! with a minor of Hey! Look at this Plant!). This results in my getting instantly enamoured of anything alive and being interesting, and being prone to shouting "SCIENCE!" at random intervals.
I am a Trekkie, Browncoat, Whovian, novice Dungeon Master, and a member of many other fandoms (Battlestar Galactica, Buffy, and Avatar: the Last Airbender/Legend of Korra among them) without cute collective nouns. I got into fanfiction through the Redwall series in my first year of high school, which started off my whole career as an Internet writer and made me some now truly beloved friends.
I am American, but I am also an inveterate Anglophile, so you may often see British English spellings and such idioms as I feel comfortable enough using.
My older Redwall fics are probably going to remain in cryogenic stasis as far as I can tell... but we'll see. I'm currently working on a Star Trek AU fic based on my Star Trek Online experiences, and I write a crapload of Forgotten Realms things which may someday be posted here.
I rarely, if ever, use my LiveJournal anymore, ever since I discovered Facebook and Tumblr (the latter of which also contains my writing, photography, and excited flailing, and can be found here). It's also come down with a case of spammers, many of whom post in Russian and perplex me. (I can read, write, and speak English and some French.)
