![]() Author has written 17 stories for Yu-Gi-Oh, Final Fantasy VII, Alice in Wonderland, 2010, and Thor. This profile you are now reading is the fruit of the life on an former Mary-sue supporter, a 'former' rabid fan-girl (still rabid, mind you), a former fandom Nazi, and now, just a lenient laid back bitch who has nothing better to do than poke and pick at her horribly written shit. Relish in her tampered mind as she brings you twisted and often disgusting pairings (in equally god-awful stories), though she is oddly renowned for making them seem good or plausible as stated by her critics. She doesn't have a boyfriend. Doesn't want a boyfriend. Convinces herself often that she doesn't need a boyfriend. Sometimes even thought about the other end of the equation, but shortly decided that all relationships are fake and phony and doesn't want any real lubby-dubby crap in her life, aside from her good friends and gamer buddies. (Why do you think I am writing fiction?) Lastly, she secretly plots the destruction of her older sister, which in her mind, will directly involve the use of peanut-butter, pillow stuffing and random spontaneous combustion. (Hey, can't rule it out...) Enjoy the fics, folks. (walks away) -Jeuxmungandr Anime/Manga Books/Series of Books Battle Royale (Koushun Takami) Film/Cinema 2001: A Space Odyssey (Stanley Kubrick) - 1968 Television American Dad Video Games American McGee's Alice - (Spicy Horse) Ships I will Go Down With: Loki/Jane Foster (Marvel) Note: I do not 'hate' any ships. Hate is against my moral code. Some pairings may disturb me. Some I don't agree with. I totally support slash, I just don't write about it. Really, the only way I can ever dislike a ship is if the fan base surrounding it pisses me off to a certain extent and I hold a grudge against that ship forever and ever and ever (and its been known to happen). For the sake of being civil, those ships will not be named, but they do exist.
Homer: (head spinning in a circular motion while watching a pig roast on an open fire) - Scene from (The Simpsons - Season 6: Lisa's Wedding) Kirk Lazarus: "It aint right... What would've happened in The Great Escape, if Steve McQueen and those dudes just turned tail and ran..." - Scene from (Tropic Thunder) Ilosovic Stayne/Knave of Hearts: "And uh... who is this lovely creature?" - Scene from (Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland ) Loki: Enough! You are all of you beneath me! I am a "God!" you dull- creature! And I will not- be bullied by- - Scene from (Joss Whedon's The Avengers ) NOTES: Updating Process: I am a very, VERY slow updater. I mostly read other people's work, critique when I can, but I don't get much inspiration from anything, so it hits me very randomly and very rarely. I am also a full time college student and a conceptual artist in training. I have homework varying all the way from computer programming, essay writing to art projects that require ten hour minimum work time, so fan related stuff will always come second. Reviewing Process: I am mostly a recluse reviewer. I don't review stuff I (a) think is really, really good and doesn't need further assistance, (b) stuff I think is beyond saving and not worthy of my time. (c) Stuff that is a complete and total JOKE! Sometimes, I will review stuff to give new artists a helpful boost (when you are starting out, encouragement can be the most powerful method of help, too much of it will result in hubris, so be careful with it), but most of the time, if I see a problem that is really distracting, damn it, you are going to know about it. Pairing Policies: Every pairing is a good pairing... if written well and directly corresponds to the content its based on. I HATE things that are one hundred percent out of character (can stomach twenty percent, but not much higher than that), and will often not even bother to review them. (There are plenty of fandom nazis on this site that will be happy to do that, NOT me) Slash Policies: It's fine. Like I said, every pairing is good if written appropriately. GirlxGirl and GuyxGuy, no problem whatsoever! If you are passionate about something, you write it! Me, I am for gay rights, I voted no on prop 8 in california, and cheered when that proposition was overturned by the federal government. I am not gay (having no interest in any relationship, whatsoever, gay or straight), but I have plenty of friends and even family who are wish the best for them all. Community Policies: My opinions on what you write don't matter that much, and honestly, I don't really care about that from the get-go anyway. This is the internet: it is a free place for any kind of train of thought, and people can enjoy it on whatever level they want. I aint gonna stop you (aka: report you) unless you really need a wake up call, however... don't you DARE come crying to me because I am (a) working with a pairing that you don't like (b) adding plot elements that have been overused... this is the twenty-first century, NOTHING is original anymore. Avatar isn't original, Harry Potter isn't original either, and the sooner you fan-tards get over that, the better. If there is one thing I hate, it is people blatantly telling me what I can and cannot do. Author Relationships: Depends on the type of author. Mary-Sue authors don't bother me that much, they are employing free speech, even if they are using it in a terrible way. Fan-brats, annoying as shit and are tenacious parasites, but they are like bears. You stay away from them and they will (most like way) stay away from you. Fandom nazis? Honestly, I used to be one of them (for the Yu-Gi-Oh fandom, anywho), but then I saw how they functioned on other levels and it almost turned me off completely from fan fiction. Honestly, the combination of tolerance (accepting who other people are), acceptance (listening to what other people have to say) and a helpful attitude (willing to help and work with others) make good authors here. Dogmatic takes (thinking less of other people because they don't write the way you want them too), narrowmind-ness (believing your way is the only way) and immature personalities (thinking you have to spread the word on your thoughts and beliefs--seriously, you are embarrassing yourself!) do not. Final Notes: Everyone has to be treated fairly on this website. Couples, story-lines and fandoms are like religions to some people; Treat them like that. PERSONAL NOTES: I am DONE! writing Yu-Gi-Oh!!!! I mean, DONE! I have no interest in it anymore, I sold all my DVDs, gave my cards away (didn't even sell them) and shipped off my video games to united way. The only things I haven't done away with, are my comics books (because they will always have a special place in my heart), but don't expect any updates from me. EVER! Because with every crappy season they send over, (what are they on now, number four or something?) I lose more and more interest. So, farewell Yu-Gi-Oh fandom. It was fun. And probably Finally Fantasy VII too. Sorry, but ever since my PS3 burned out of me and suffered YLOD, (and was forced to get the lesser version lacking backwards compatibility) I have been angry with the gaming industry. (and I didn't game anymore than five hours a week, too) I have also sworn not to upgrade anymore either. Thank you to everyone who has read, reviewed and enjoyed my work to any type of degree. Your support is what keeps me going. Thanks a million! Final Note: I need to update more... and review more people's fics... ... ... (sigh.) |
