O- I don't like begging for reviews in a fic. I'm not above begging for them in a profile, so PLEASE REVIEW!! (cries) O- I'm impatient when I've finished a fic or chapter, so I usually proof-read "on the fly". Which means, I go back and correct as I notice them. If you notice any errors, please call my attention to them. Thanks. O- I do like "constructive criticism". Which means, if you think I've got a character OOC or that something in the plot doesn't make sense, let me know so I can improve my writing later. O- I don't like Author's Notes. If I feel a fic needs some explanation I'll use them. If you have any questions about a fic, please ask. O- I generally write in two flavors: Angst and Crack. Sometimes, I write Angsty Crack. Sometimes the Angst or the Crack touch on some other genre, usually Horror, Sci-Fi or Mystery. But lets be honest: it's still all about one or the other. O- I do not write smut, ever. If there is sex in a story, it will probably not be worse than prime-time television level graphic. If a fic has an "M" rating, it means the violence gets bad enough for it. Love me some violence. O- I do read slash. I haven't written any. Yet. I will slap a warning on a fic if there is going to be any. O- There are a lot of things I generally don't like in a fic. Incest, OCs, silly AUs (see below), among other things... That doesn't mean I won't write them if I think a story demands it. I'm the Muse's bitch. O- Concerning the above, I consider an AU silly if it completely wrecks the theme of the canon. I.e. Heroes but nobody has powers, Buffy the Vampire Slayer but there are no vampires or magic. It's stupid. I'm actually very fond of AUs otherwise, the crazier the better. O- It's not really incest if it's Sylar. (teehee) The Challenge List These are story ideas I probably will never get around to writing, but I'd honestly love to see them some time. They're all a bit cracky, but anyway... These ideas are up for grabs if you like them, so go wild. X- Take a crime procedural show of your choice (Law and Order/SVU/CI, CSI, Bones, Numb3rs, Castle, Criminal Minds, etc). Write an AU episode where people have daemons like in The Golden Compass. X- Stargate: Atlantis. Set in any season after the episode "Michael", what would things be like if "Lt. Michael Kenmore" never found out he was actually a Wraith? X- In season 3 of Heroes we were shown a flashback where it is revealed that Sylar tried to hang himself before continuing his killing spree. How would the events of season 1 go down if he had succeeded? Other stuff about me: I is a deviant! Click here! Other obsessions: D&D, especially Ravenloft. GaiaOnline (A guilty pleasure. I go by Hazgarn there too.) A NOTE: A computer disaster has resulted in all my files being locked up for the moment. Hopefully, this will get fixed quickly, but until then it's unlikely that my stories "The Devil You Know" and "Calamitous" will have updates any time soon. Not that I've been punctual in continuing them before, but I can only offer up that I do intend for them to continue once everything gets sorted out. |
