After the sludge incident, Izuku Midoriya's dream was officially crushed. However, a later experience takes the boy in a new direction. Izuku had never really contemplated being a detective, but his whole life he'd only ever wanted to help people with a smile on his face. Izuku was a bit more sneaky, and Toshinori doesn't see him interfere to give All Might the opening to save Katsuki. Akaguro Chizome on the other hand does. Due to the tragic and early demise of his flat, Todoroki has no other choice but to temporarily move in with Midoriya and Uraraka. And, one thing leading to another, never manages to leave. Midoriya/Uraraka/Todoroki domestic fluff.

After a particularly nasty encounter between Kacchan and Deku, the class practically ostracizes Bakugou while trying to defend Midoriya. When Midoriya commits suicide after hearing he can't be a hero for just too many times, Bakugou's world falls apart. He's struggling a lot as he's trying to accept the fact that it was his doing that caused Midoriya to pass the limit, as well as balance his normal life and his life at his new school.

Izuku Midoriya had always wanted to be a hero, even if he didn't have a quirk. But when his idol says his dream is impossible and a traumatic event has him seeing heroes in a whole new light, how will he react? Will that childhood dream survive? Or will Deku no longer be the name of a hero?

Being able to see things no one has ever, is not great. Izuku is cursed to see things he doesn't want to have anything to do with. He never asked to be Champion of Death, but he's stuck with the title. So he's cursed, quirkless, the main target of a murderer, and going to become a hero no matter what. Wait, a target? Well that's nice to know. Let's just add villains into the fray.

All Might never lost the Slime Villain upon his meet up with Midoriya Izuku. Bakugou never needed rescue, All Might never witnessed Izuku's potential as a true hero and thus never went to apologize to the boy for his misguided words. And Shigaraki Tomura had been witness to the crushing words the Number One Hero relayed to the desperate Deku. Villain!Deku
