My new blog:
I've gotta do some updates on this since I'm semi-active writing fanfiction again...I'll get around to it. I've published a bit more on Amazon.
Published Stories on Amazon:
You can find the following titles that I have written on Amazon for Kindle. Just type in the name of the story you want along with my name, Mara A. Miller The Original titles also have a physical copy of the book if you don't own a Kindle or don't want to have the program on your computer or phone (although why wouldn't you? Kindle has this really awesome program called Kindle Select wherein authors can enroll their books for three months at a time. It helps us gain more royalties from the books being borrowed by Prime members, and allows us to do neat things like put the books up for free 5 days at a time and to have a seven day countdown deal. They also have this cool thing you can do to your books, where you put them on permafree... I can't afford to do that on my books, but I may do it to a short story).
Under Kindle Worlds:
All This time: It's $3.99. Unfortunately, I can't do anything about the cost. It's set under KW guidelines. Here's the summary from Amazon:
Damon sent Elena home in hopes of avoiding issues with the Sire Bond and so he could train Jeremy as a hunter. Elena, who is at home and frustrated because he will not answer her phone calls, decides she needs to clean her living room after Matt and Jeremy wrecked it with a junk food and video game night. When she lifts up a loose floorboard underneath the couch she finds more Gilbert journals and an old compass.
Suddenly in eighteen-sixty-four amongst Katherine Pierce and the human Salvatore brothers after she touched the compass, Elena pretends to be Katherine's twin sister so she can survive until Emily can find a way to send her home. How exactly is Elena going to do this without changing her own timeline?
Original Novels both in print and available on Kindle:
Cheap Guitars: $2.99 on Kindle, and the price of the physical book fluctuates from $8.99 to $10.01. The cover is awesome though. It's a matte finish and I was stunned when I saw it. Here's the summary:
How often do two people have a second chance to get it right?
Elise and Brandon are two friends secretly in love with each other, but fear and uncertainties tore them apart before either of them could declare their feelings. Elise made a hasty decision to run, taking nothing with her but her new husband and Brandon's old guitar. Neither thought their paths would cross again until Elise was forced to move back into town four years later minus a husband or any career prospects.
Will they allow old mistakes to keep them apart or will they finally set aside their differences and pride to find a way back to each other?
Head Over Hoof: 3.99 on kindle. Summary:
Briana knew she needed to give college a second try. After the death of her parents and the battle to keep her brother out of trouble, her aunt’s offer to take him while she took classes was a relief. The roommate ad looks perfect; a bed to sleep in and a roof over head. A new friend to share an experience with. What could possibly go wrong?
Cynthia has baggage that comes along with her six-year long relationship with her boyfriend, Aidan.
While Aidan and Briana grow close over their attempts to rehabilitate a rescue horse on his family ranch, Cynthia repeatedly makes a suggestion that has the both of them blushing.
They won’t; they can’t… at least in the beginning.
Original Work in Progress:
Head Over Heart: second after HOH...the rewrite got so long that it's going to be two books.
Cheap Tricks: I'm excited about this. It's actually the second book after Cg. :) Summary, anyone?
Sophie Riddle is back home, working for a contract archaeology firm when her grandmother suddenly announces her plans to sell her horse farm. Sophie finds a journal with information about the area and it forces her to declare the site archaeological so her Uncle Tom can't lay down his apartment complex. Between becoming reacquainted with Neal Justice, reading the journal, and dealing with a difficult colleague, Sophie is trying to convince her grandmother to keep her property. Sophie learns far more about herself as she digs up more family history.
