![]() Author has written 6 stories for Harry Potter, RWBY, Tokyo Ghoul/東京喰種トーキョーグール, Code Geass, My Hero Academia/僕のヒーローアカデミア, and Charlotte/シャーロット. "In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little, yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face, is that in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than our criticism designating it so." -Anton Ego (Ratatouille) “To be perfectly original one should think much and read little, and this is impossible, for one must have read before one has learnt to think.” -Lord Byron Let me just say that I consider fanfiction to be a fun hobby. That's it. I enjoy and appreciate the magnificent literary works that some authors have been able to write under the label of fanfiction, but my aspirations are not nearly so high. I'm just a college student that enjoys reading and writing fanfics when I want to have a bit of fun. Fanfiction isn't something I stress about or take seriously, it's a way for me to blow off some steam and be creative without the pressure of trying to make things perfect. My literary playground, if you will. I like to think I'm a pretty decent writer, but anything I post on this site will be rough. That is an undeniable, irrefutable fact. I do not outline my stories. I do not mull over ideas for months on end. I do not excessively edit nor do I ask anyone to proofread. My successes and failures both are entirely my own. Oh, and for the record, I'm always open to honest feedback on my work, be it compliment or critique. With that said, there's a high probability I will vehemently disagree with your feedback because the writing quality on this site is, on average, pretty damn low, which automatically makes the judgment of the readers on this site suspect. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not judging. I've certainly enjoyed some shitty fanfics in my day, hell, a quick glance in my favorites will no doubt reveal some of them to you. But just because I enjoy bad fanfiction doesn't mean I'm going to use it as a reference in order to improve my writing. And again, this is a hobby of mine meant to help me relax. I'm not out here looking to stress over my work. If you're here because you did read any of my fanfics, I thank you. Genuinely, thanks. It's extremely gratifying to know that people took time out of their day to read and potentially enjoy my dumb little fanfics. I write for me above all else, but I post what I write on this site because I enjoy sharing it. So, again, thanks, and I hope you enjoyed. :) -Profile image by @ Doodlelot on Twitter. -I am NOT My Brother's Keeper image by @ Rialve on Tumblr. -The Best Laid Plans of Wizards and Men image by @ luciabruma on DeviantArt -Misery Made Them Fiends image courtesy of promotional material for RWBY: Amity Arena -The Monster You Created image courtesy of the Tokyo Ghoul manga -A Different Providence, A Different Time, A Different Life image courtesy of official promotional material for Code Geass by CLAMP |
