The ALG Series: A Complilation of Short Stories Based on the "Revolutionshipping" Romantic Pairing
Allow me to provide the Revolutionshipping fandom with some (hopefully) worthwhile reading material.
I do update, albeit sometimes slowly. I enjoy making my life busy and therefore have other things on my mind than mapping out the proceeding chapter in a story.
That being said, the only couple that I take interest in writing about is Yami Yugi x Téa. They are and will always be my favorite couple, and in my opinion the most canon couple on the show (followed closely by Joey and Mai). Thus, this series of Revolutionshipping stories being born.
Please read, enjoy, review, and spread the word to other members of the Revolutionshipping fandom. In that order.
Alright so, it seems to be a trend that authors talk about themselves and their fiction-related opinions, so I guess I could add a little blurb.
I'm a 23 year old female, and that's all you need to know about that.
I am a Revolutionshipper at heart, which strangely goes against any other aspect of my personality. I am by no means an eccentric fangirl on the regular when it comes to anime or cartoons in general, and yet I am hopelessly infatuated with Yami Yugi and with the romantic situation between him and Téa Gardner for reasons unknown.
As for my writing style, I choose to write in a way that is expressively detailed, and with words artfully woven together. I am a firm believer of the philosophy "It's not the size of the words, but the way you use the smaller ones that makes an impressive vocabulary."
I also make a concerted effort to stray from vastly overused cliche phrases that you read in nearly every ordinary romance story (if you read my stories in chronological order of when they were published, you might be able to notice that I use less of it and use more of something I made up myself). I've been told numerous times by generously kind reviewers that I have a gift for eliciting emotional reactions from my readers, which certainly acts as immensely helpful encouragement for me to keep writing! After all, is that not the point of writing for an audience?
Oh, another things about my style: REALISM. CANON-ISM. It is my sole duty as a fan fiction writer to stay true to all dimensions of each character, and incorporate as many details from the canon storyline as I can to create a very realistic scene that my readers can comfortably picture in their minds. My readers often comment on my attention to detail on the characters, mainly Yami Yugi (because his character is rather an enigma all on its own) and claim that I almost always stay very IC. Which also makes me happy!
[Why I Use American names: Since I've been asked this a few times already, I use the American names (which sets me apart from most Yu-Gi-Oh authors), because I am living in America and for me personally, it's more appropriate vernacular for me to use. Plus, I always imagine the American version of the show when I write. The Japanese is way better written and not so ridiculously obtrusively censored, but I just can't go without the American voice actors. Nothing is right or okay in this world if my Yami/Pharaoh Atem is voiced by anyone other than Dan Green.]
I also have a few things to say to bashers:
Looks like the bashers just got bashed.
