Phyllis: Hello, I'm back again! I know you all just missed me oh so much!
Bandersnatch: Well well, aren't we modest?
Phyllis: *sticks tongue out at Bandersnatch* Meany-Face! Anyway, if you haven't seen it before, check out my prof. K?

Who am I?
Birth Date: Oct. 23 ‘89
Height: 5’7’’ - 5'8''

Other: Phyllis is a young Christian (God rules! Literally!) who enjoys writing and would like to share her work with others that they might gain enjoyment from it. Her muse, Bandersnatch is, in fact, a bandersnatch, although quite unlike the one from the recent Burton film. Here is an attempt Phyllis made at drawing said creature.

News and Updates
(March 6, 2014) I know, I know, I KNOW I haven't updated anything for here in a long time. I do plan to finish Ego at some point, but it may be a while. I have an original fic I'm working and, well... I also get caught up in rp sometimes *blush* Thanks to all who kept up with it, I hope I can reward your diligence sooner, rather than later.
(Apr 5, 2012) Just wanted to let you guys know, I AM working on the next chap for Ego. Got a little hung up around the holidays, but I'm back in the game and should hopefully have completed the chapter soon. Thanks to all for your patience.
I have an account on Fictionpress.com. It's under the same penname if you're interested.
A good verse to remember
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
What follows is my promise to you as a fellow fanfiction author.
With regards to reading other's fics:
I will do my best to give useful reviews. Even if I can find nothing negative to critique, I will tell you just what it is I like about your story rather than giving the generic "You're awesome!" I would like to ask forgiveness for any shallow reviews I have given in the past. This does not, by the way, apply to every chapter in a chapter fic however since, sometimes there's just really nothing to add. I do promise to do my best to give a helpful review at least every third review.
I will not, however, nitpick at grammar or spelling errors (IE: wondering instead of wandering) unless they are entirely too distracting. That's what betas and spell-check are for, and I mean to look over your story in order to enjoy the content, not the spelling and grammar precision. _
If I choose to follow or favourite your story, I promise to review as well. This goes back to my review promise. I want you to know why I like your story, not just that I like it.
With regards to reading requests:
If I, after reading your story, ask you to read one of mine, be advised that it is a compliment. I only ask those people who I believe to be good at the genre I am asking about (or sometimes just writing in general) and therefore, will be helpful to me in their review of my own work. If you, receiving such a request, choose to decline, I will not be offended (Or, if I am, I'll get over it. XD) nor will I continue to pester you about reading the fic. I know we have lives, and those lives don't always allow for reading every story someone asks us to read. Just (and here's my request to you) please let me know so I don't wonder if you've just suddenly fallen off the face of the planet. :)
If you, on the other hand, ask me to read your fic, I will strive to read it as soon as I am able (Life, remember?) so long as it is T or below, is in a category I am familiar with, and is free of sexual content, nudity, yaoi, slash, (Not homophobic, just uncomfortable reading that sort) or excessive swearing. I will, furthermore, do my best to offer a well-rounded critique to said story.
With regards to my own fics
I promise to keep my stories to a T rating or below. I will not write sexual content in these stories, nor will I swear. Any T rating will be due to very mild innuendo, or violence, and even then will probably be pretty rare.
I tend to gravitate toward OC-centric fics, so I make this promise to you as well. I will strive to avoid giving any of my OC's a Mary-Sue/Gary-Stu status. If you, reading my fic, decide my character has crossed the line, please let me know and I will take your thoughts into consideration and will either revise or explain the reasoning behind the action. (Sometimes they look like they're starting to Sue, but there's actually a fair reason for the oddness) I will, furthermore, avoid pairing my OC's with any character that is already attached in canon. (This usually isn't a problem for me since I tend to like the pairings the original creators give, but I though I'd throw that in anyway)
With regards to reviews of my fics:
I, sadly, do not always have a good response to the reviews I receive for chapter fics. If I have no response, I do promise to, at the very least, acknowledge your review in the next chapter. If it is a one-shot, or a final chapter, I will strive to at least send a "thank you" pm. :)
If you have actually read this far, first of all, I'm impressed, and second of all, I would like to challenge you. I know not everyone will have the same intentions as I do, but I think it would be really great if we made some sort of promise like this so that readers know what to expect from us. No obligation of course (Seriously, what am I going to do? Flame you? XD) just something for you to think on. :)

A collab between IsabelleAuthor and I. One by one we intend to pit Hylian against Hybrid, Ghost against Goron! The result? Chaos and hilarity ensues! (If the hyperlink isn't working, check for it on IsabelleAuthor's profile.)
My beliefs most closely follow the Independent Baptist tradition, however, I do not split hairs over the smaller aspects of denomination. The most important question, have you done the following?
A. Have you confessed to God that you are a sinner? B. Do you believe that Jesus Christ is God's only son, and that died on the cross and rose again to save you from your sins? C. Have you asked Jesus Christ to be Lord of your life?
Some things I believe, but do not split hairs over-
I believe that, while Christian can fall away in their walk with Christ, they can never become "unsaved."
John 10:28 - And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
Eternal security does not give a Christian the right to act unseemly.
1st Corinthians 8:12 But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.
1st Corinthians 10:23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.
I am also King James only.
I may post some others later, but that's all for now. If you have any questions about Christianity, just ask. If I don't know the answer, I'll research it, or point you to someone who knows.
((Thanks to Qoheleth for bringing the incorrect address citation of the last two verses to my attention.))
If you like Mirrormask, you'll love this fic. Walking On Air by RoguePirateMaiden. I'm serious. CHECK THIS FIC OUT!
AUTHOR'S GUILD SERIES:
In order for you to understand those fictions which will, henceforth, be chronicled under the Author's Guild series, it is necessary for me to explain, briefly, what it means to be an Author's Guild Operative.
Unbeknownst to most people, the works of fiction we so thoroughly enjoy actually do happen. They are compiled from a host of interviews in other worlds which most authors naively believe to be a product of their own imagination. There are actually only a few of us who really know the truth. We are selected, not for any particular writing prowess, cunning, or experience, but rather from a sheer willingness and bout of dumb luck.
Once initiated as an Author's Guild Operative, (Or AGO) we are given certain 'privileges'. We have, for instance, a special sort of aura that protects us from potentially ugly encounters with the less than pleasant characters in our stories, we are given more time to investigate before the clock begins ticking again in our own world, and finally, we are given a clear, complete memory of ever encounter.
An AGO has but two rules they must abide by; never get attached, and never get involved. Although the first is more of a guideline, the second can result in the loss of one's author's protection as well as other consequences as the Author's Council sees fit.
Ah, the council, an interesting topic in and of itself. They are an imposing looking lot, with their brown hooded cloaks, and dark tones. They are there to initiate AGO's and "keep them in line." From what I have gathered from other authors, the 'consequences' are often determined by the mood of the council member who witnessed your act of deviance. It is the significance of these consequences that have prompted me to chronicle the less than pleasant tales of authors who have had the misfortune of crossing one of our 'employers'.
By the way, never compare a council member to a monk. It will not go over well.
Why are they permitting me to write these things? Well, because no one will believe it of course. I mean, you don't, do you?
