>>Update: July 31, 2017
It's been quite a long time since I last updated my profile, and life has been busy.
Since the last update, I managed to accomplish my goal of writing one tag to every single episode of The Musketeers, though I still have at least one more season three tag in the process of being written - if I can find the time to get back to it. I also have in my notebook a story I'm tentatively calling "The Fine Art of Communication."
Posting continues on the story I'm writing in honor of Celticgal1041's birthday. Posting one chapter per week, it is still a work in progress, but I think it's about 80% (or more) complete.
My idea folder is pretty full, and my time is limited, but I still plan to keep on writing in the future.
I hope you have a magnificent day! :o)
And, now back to your regularly scheduled profile...
Since I like seeing something in the profile section, I thought I would return the favor...
In terms of reading, I enjoy many different genres, including classic literature, comics/graphic novels, fantasy, sci-fi, thrillers, and mysteries. The only genre I don't particularly like to read and prefer in TV or movie form is biography. As far as TV or movies goes, the topic/story and characters just have to appeal to me and I'll consider watching it.
A little more about my writing: Up until May of 2008, the majority of the writing I'd done in my life had been related to either work or school. Then I got the idea for "Being Back" for the Supernatural fandom, and it would not let me go until I had written it down. On a whim I posted it on this site where I’d only previously enjoyed reading others’ stories. (My apologies to anyone who has read ‘Being Back’ and wishes for its continuation. As of right now it's on permanent hiatus. The same is also true with the Person of Interest story When It All Goes Wrong.)
One thing I've learned over the last couple of years is to always have a notebook nearby to write down ideas because you don't always have access to your computer or other digital devices... For kicks, I also write down the date of the idea and its inspiration (e.g. story review). I’ve also discovered that I enjoy being a beta reader since it gets me to focus more on proper grammar, plot development, etc..
As of December 2016, I have posted more than 145 stories for a variety of fandoms. I also post my stories on Archive of Our Own under the same author name. Thank you to those of you who have ever given my stories a chance. I really appreciate the feedback, because I feel that I still have so much to learn about writing.
Thanks for reading!
