Please do not repost or use any of my works on another site or app without my knowledge or consent. Thank you! (The only other site that should have my fanfic on it is Archive of our Own (AO3) where I also post under the name AZGirl. If you see my stories posted where they shouldn't be, please let me and the sites' administrators know.)
Disclaimer: None of the TV shows, movies, etc. that I write about are mine. You know that, right? I'm just borrowing the concepts and characters for a little while.
If you find you have had a story posted where it shouldn't be, then check out AO3's website for more information. The site has tips (DMCA takedown procedures) on how to get your fics off those sites/apps. Also, please spread the word - especially to the other authors! - when you see stories on sites/apps where they shouldn't be - thanks.
And, now back to your regularly scheduled profile...
Since I like seeing something in the profile section, I thought I would return the favor...
In terms of reading, I enjoy many different genres, including classic literature, comics/graphic novels, fantasy, sci-fi, thrillers, and mysteries. The only genre I don't particularly like to read and prefer in TV or movie form is biography. As far as TV or movies goes, the topic/story and characters just have to appeal to me and I'll consider watching it.
A little more about my writing: Up until May of 2008, the majority of the writing I'd done in my life had been related to either work or school. Then I got the idea for "Being Back" for the Supernatural fandom, and it would not let me go until I had written it down. On a whim I posted it on this site where I’d only previously enjoyed reading others’ stories. (My apologies to anyone who has read ‘Being Back’ and wishes for its continuation. As of right now it's on permanent hiatus. The same is also true with the Person of Interest story 'When It All Goes Wrong'.)
One thing I've learned over the last couple of years is to always have a notebook nearby to write down ideas, because you don't always have access to your computer or other digital devices... For kicks, I also write down the date of the idea and its inspiration (e.g. story review). I’ve also discovered that I enjoy being a beta reader since it gets me to focus more on proper grammar, plot development, etc..
As of November 2020, I have posted more than 175 stories for a variety of fandoms. I also post my stories on Archive of Our Own under the same author name. Thank you to those of you who have ever given my stories a chance. I really appreciate the feedback, because I feel that I still have so much to learn about writing.
Thanks for reading!
