Wow. It's been a long time since I've done any fanfiction. I apologize to all of you who are fans of my work here. Truth is, I haven't stopped writing, I've just been working on original stuff like crazy. I fully intend to pick up all of my work here sometime soon. I've been feeling a nagging urge to complete Repine with Torment and then move on to Finding Time for Rain. I won't make any promises, but you can expect to see some real updates this spring. :)

A lot has happened, but my life is back on track and I'm pretty much back to my normal, happy self. Life for me has been altered though, and it's no surprise that my style of writing has changed too. I'd like to say that I've improved a great deal since the stories here were first published to the site. I'll let all of you be the judge of that though once I start working on them again. See you all soon!

My father finally passed away in February. I have been mourning for him deeply. My life is changing rapidly before my very eyes now, and I'm finding it difficult to keep up. However, out of this tragedy I am happy to say that some positive aspects have surfaced. Friendships have strengthened, new friendships are blossoming, and I have begun to learn more about myself. As spring arrives I feel a sense of renewal within myself that is matched by the season. My time for mourning is nearing its end, and although it did not last as long as I'd predicted, it was both a powerful and transforming time for me. The transformations set in motion are going to continue throughout all of the foreseeable future. I am finally seeing things and feeling things I never thought were possible. Though my father's death was tragic, I feel that this is an exciting time for me. I'm looking forward to my future with my new friends by my side. I'm looking forward to writing again. I'm looking forward to finding happiness once more.
