Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter, and Twilight.
I used to be an avid fanficer and this profile used to be loaded with my enthusiastic love for fanfiction and my beloved fandoms. But, somewhere along the way, I gained less time for writing and less time turned into a decade-long hiatus that may or may not have been intentional. I grew up, became a published author, traveled the world, became a wife, and I'm about to be a mother. Being pregnant slows you down and gives you more time for things that you'd previously had to let go and now, fanfiction is my rediscovered love. :)
A major change that has happened as the result of time passing and things changing is that I've gone through and deleted a lot of my fics. I struggled with it a lot and felt bad that this is what I was choosing to do. But, after growing by leaps and bounds in my writing and evolving as an author, I decided it was best and I wanted a clean start. There is the possibility of reposts happening, if a thorough rewrite occurs. But, no promises. What I love about this space is its my pocket of the web where I have been able to chart and observe my growth as an ambitious teenager with dreams of being a writer to an accomplished adult whose achieved that dream - and now, I only want to enjoy writing and not necessarily having to be reminded of my newbie years and the lack of skill I once had.
If I've deleted a fic that you'd reviewed, favorited, or had been following - I am sorry. But, there is so much new material to come that I don't think you'll be feeling too sour with me for too long. :)
I look forward to connecting with my readers again, reigniting writing buddy friendships, and being able to explore the familiar comfort of fandom with a new outlook and evolution about writing.

THE MIGHTY SEVERUS/LILY GENDER-SWITCH CHALLENGE
Write a fic in which Severus and Lily are the opposite gender - but, not that way through a magical accident, such as the cliched "accidental spill in Potions class" or a backfired spell. They have to have been born this way. The purpose of this challenge is to show how life and their relationship would have been different, how much would have changed and what would have changed, how much would have stayed the same and what would have stayed the same, or how much would have never occurred at all and what would have never occurred at all, had Severus been born female and Lily had been born male.
However, you must follow the rules, otherwise, the challenge won't be as...well, challenging.
1. Severus Snape and Lily Evans must have reversed genders. Not through magical accident, but because they were born this way.
An optional bonus, but not mandatory:
- The story echoes canon almost exactly, including male!Lily dying for her/his son through the inadvertent actions of female!Severus.
Have fun, be creative, and share with all your fellow Severus Snape-Lily Evans fans!
