Author has written 10 stories for Evangelion, Rurouni Kenshin, My Little Pony, and Arthur.
Seriously though, please DO NOT bring on the spam, it's not something I'm really looking for...
I'm a 28-year-old male. I've written some stories on here a few years ago, but it's up in the air if I will ever get back to those old ones.
Favorite types of stories to write :
I really used to like writing comedy and crack-fics, but now I've wanted to start writing some more dramatic, serious stories, with maybe a little humor thrown in every once in a while. Romance seems to be the genre of choice for me these days, which is a lot more surprising to myself than it really should be... I've definitely acquired a taste for tragedy, and sometimes morbidity, too.
Favorite character type :
I'm quite partial to the mentally and morally unbalanced anti-heroes, characters who have comedic, cynical world views. The good, heroic acts they perform are solely self-serving power trips and addiction feeds, disregarding anyone else as an obstacle, even if they have some sort of assistant, familiar, or psychotic fan contributing to their successes. I guess this could also apply to a hero's sidekick as well, depending on the story, especially if the primary hero is a social butterfly whose morality and sense of justice are incredibly self-righteous.
Grievances while reading others' works :
I don't have that many. However, I don't really like it when the first paragraph I read of a story starts out with "It was a bright, sunny day in (insert place), the birds were chirping...etc." I've seen that same opening a thousand times, and I like more creativity in them. Also, if a story starts out with an exhaustive description of the protagonist, or even hints at one:
i.e. "This is Joe Blow. He has blue eyes and brown hair. He is 5'11, and has an athletic build. He's wearing a red t-shirt and baggy jeans. He's a typically nice guy in his everyday life, but during a full moon he transforms into a werewolf. Did I mention that he's a werewolf?...yeah...that's kind of important."
it can be a story killer for me.
Another would be the text wall of death, where an author crams an entire chapter into one, 3000-word paragraph, completely ignoring spacing and, in some cases, punctuation. Just horrible! Windows Notepad (my writing canvas) is one of the most god-awfully unsupported computer writing tablets for this site, and somehow I still manage to avoid text walls. I think that is saying something right there...
I'm usually pretty prompt in responding to PMs, getting on most days and during the night if I can manage, but I have a tendency to vanish off the face of the Earth every once in a while.

Nicest bunch of guys and gals I've seen on a forum yet. They're available anytime if anyone needs writing help or beta reading services. You can also just come and talk in non-member topics if you need a supportive ear on something.
I suppose I should make a disclaimer saying that I always leave reviews on my log-in, NEVER anonymous. If someone tries to impersonate me (don't know why they would, but for security's sake) as an anon reviewer with the same name, it is not me.
THE UPDATE BLOCK -
January 9, 2015 - I felt like it was time to clean up my profile a little. A lot of things have been changing with me over the last few years, and my profile should reflect that. Still alive, though not really motivated to continue my other stories much. I've started becoming interested in different series and also in doing some original writing. Everything's still subject to change and whim, as it always has been.
June 27, 2015 - Some readers who have been following "The Princess and the Private" might be interested to know that, since I have not given this story the attention that it should have gotten a long time ago, jeremy1555 will be continuing this story in my stead. Yes, I have given him permission to do so, so please, no messages about how he stole it from me, lol. Since I had formed a basic outline for what I might possibly do with this story a few years ago, it will be most interesting to see what this story becomes in the hands of another writer. Thanks to jeremy1555 for offering to resurrect the saga.
