![]() Long-time Fanfiction follower with a penchant for Harry Potter and Tamora Pierce, mostly. Have issues with narratives ending; use as a billion-worded excuse to escape the real world and stay up really, really late (hello, 4am). Cheers to all those who write and post the many excellently written, intelligent and humorous tales that I find my way to - and thanks a lot, because it's your fault that I have to keep telling people that I "just seem to be sleeping really badly recently..." One and only recommendation, of the Marauder-ish variety: The Shoebox Project, cowritten by ladyjaida and dorkorific. As a foray into multimedia Fanfiction disciplines it is exquisite; as a narrative, it is brilliantly meandering; as a piece of character development and writing more broadly...it's the best out there by far, in my opinion. Exceptional. Link to both the PDF, and to happiness, is below: "You stole my cake?" Sirius asks. "I thought I ate it when I wasn't paying attention." And a line that just clinched it for me: "Frank, my dear", Kingsley says, "I don't give a damn." |
