Author has written 9 stories for Inuyasha, and Naruto.
Home: NB, Canada. Eh... *rolls eyes*
About me: Small girl from a small town with small-minded people breathing my air. Heh, so when I had decided that an escape was needed, I turned toward the yummiest novel I could find at that moment. When that failed, I found what ever was decent on tv. Back when 'bunny ears' sufficed. Thus, my brother catches me one day and says, "Hey, have you heard of 'Inuyasha'? Aw! Here, check it out! It's awesome! So much better than Pokemon! Srsly!" (Or something like that...) The point here is I had found - had shoved down my throat - my new escape. (Obsession)
That very same night, as I'm preparing for my night shift and chatting about my day with the crew leaving me behind, one little chikie glomps me. She had been in love with anime for ever. I am now the proud owner of a large drawing of Naruto that I adore, as well as the many drawings she did from memory just because. Yes Ginta, I still have them. Even the ones drawn on the yellow lined paper.
I am still obsessed. (Interested)
My List): Naruto (Shippuuden), FMA (Brotherhood), Gundam Seed (Destiny), Bleach, Inuyasha, Gravitation, Death Note, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Vampire Knight (Guilty), Loveless, Hellsing, Ao No Exorcist, Ouran High School Host Club, Black Butler, Soul Eater, Durarara!!!, NANA, Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad, ...
(Let's be honest, there are more but some deserve to be re-watched before making this list, and others I just can't remember.
Reading- The Hunger Games, Mockingjay, Catching Fire, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn, Historical Romances (Rosemary Rogers and Beatrice Small to name a couple of my favorite authors), Inuyasha, Naruto and the odd D Gray Man and Bleach Fanfictions, The Harry Potter collection, The Vampire Academy collection as well as The Vampire Diaries. A total menagerie of fantasy/romance novels, an amazing historical romance called 'The Wolf and the Dove' that I've read at least once a year since I was 14. It's been a few years since. (Trust me) Mangas, mainly Naruto, Ao No Exorcist, Loveless and a few others that spark interest dependent on my mood of the day. Oh, I can't forget those 'trashy' novels that are so damned amusing! Really! And the back of every shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, lotion, mascara, perfume, etc., bottle I own. And the backs of my DVD's. My brother's game booklets.
You get the picture, I'm sure. Haha.
NaruSasuNaru- Oh, how I love them. Period.
Writing - Oh... writing. How I've missed thee. How I've come to learn that my own skills annoy me. I'm not good enough for my own taste, which is good. I think... It's another reason pushing me to go back to school.
Random- I used to collect anything Zebra. From coffee mugs, shower curtains, blankets, lingerie, tables, shoes... a lot of my possessions were striped. Not so much anymore, but I still sneak it in here and there. A throw draped over my couch, the box for my tarot cards, the mirror sitting atop my bookshelf...
Movies: "Beastly", "District 9", "The Avengers", 'Inglorious Basterds', 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows', 'Silent Hill', "My Sister's Keeper" - That was life altering. "The Last Airbender"-LOVE IT!, "Prince Of Persia", "Avatar", All "Naruto' and Naruto:Shippuuden' Movies, 'Twilight', 'New Moon' ( of course!), "Eclipse", "Breaking Dawn pt.1", "Taken', 'Nothing to lose','Eagle Eye', 'Transformers'. Um, then there's 'Step up', 'August Rush' - Blatted so friggen' hard that I could barely breath...I'm such a baby :oP, 'Ever After', 'Armageddon', 'Pure Country', 'Shrek' (2-n-3 were good as well, but they can't beat the first). Um...there's much, much more, but I'll have to get back to you on that one...:op
Music: A7X, Carrie Underwood, Backstreet Boys, Toby Keith, Eminem, Jake Owen, Leona Lewis, David Cook, Hinder, Trapt, Garth Brooks, Three days Grace, Slipknot, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Linkin Park, Evanesence, Pussycat Dolls, Adam Lambert, Skillet, TFK, The Rasmus, ... and, once again, so much more, but I can't think of them at the moment...
Song of the moment: May 23rd, 2012 - 'Alone with You' by Jake Owen. It's so mellow and kind of heart rending. If you've been in those shoes, then you understand the feelings there. Honorable mentions would be: 'Eyes Open' by Taylor Swift, 'The Bitch Came Back' and 'Gentleman' by Theory of a Dead Man... and now I'm drawing a blank on the rest. Of course.
Feburary 6th/2011- 'Welcome Home' by Coheed and Cambriais my absolute favourite song of the moment. It just... fits every mood I can possibly come up with. Hunh, is it sad when a song can keep up with them better than a buddy? Oh, I have to mention 'Tonight' by Enrique Iglesias Ft. Ludacris - Dirty version of course. Heh, it's mygettin' down -n- dance song. As is 'The Time (The Dirty Bit)' by Black Eyed Peas. I also cook to these songs. Oh yes. OH CRAP! ...*Smoke alarm rings in back ground*
July 20th/2010-'Afterlife' by A7X is now my heart, as is 'Love the Way You Lie' by Eminem and Rihanna. Also, 'Undo-it' by Carrie Underwood is great and worth dancing to in the car, haha, and the song 'Today' by Gary Allen will make you cry. Drama Story: A close friend of mine is engaged to this guy who, in my opinion, is nearly perfect or her. Her ex, however, wouldn't let her go for the longest time. So, her fiance called him up, said a few...things, and then told him to listen to this song; 'Today'. Oh My. Things are great now, in case you're wondering, well, if you consider my friend and her fiance attemptingto set ME up with her EX, great. What ever happened to 'Ex's off limits girl-rules?' Darlin' friend of mine, there are REASONS you left him, remember. Haha.
April 18th/2010- 'Life is beautiful' by SixxAm is amazing. It's kinda how I feel; You don't realize just how wonderful life is until you've lost everything you once took for granted. Yes, I'm a sap, but at least I appreciate the sickly quality to my words. Heh heh. Also, to completely contradict myself, I heart (as in play this on my surround sound system so loud my windows rattle) the song 'City' by Hollywood Undead.
Janurary 30th/2010'Falling Inside the Black' by Skillet. Oh yeah, as well as 'Monster', 'Re-birthing', 'Whispers in the Dark'. Plus, I love the song 'In the Shadows' by The Rasmus, Oh and 'Phenomenon' by Thousand Foot Krutch.
August 22nd/09- 'Hush Hush - the remix' is my love. I heart it! Heh, I've also started listening to Disney songs. Seriously, you know... 'I won't say I'm in love' Sung by Meg from the movie 'Hercules', or 'Once upon a December' Sung by Anastasia, same titled movie. Then, of course, my other love... the song 'Paranoia' by Dope.
June 11th/09- 'Amnesia' by Britney Spears and/or 'Indian Summer' by Brooks and Dunn. It all depends on my mood, but both make me smile and sing along. (Not that I don't singalong to almost everything anyway.) Plus I've been listening to a lot of music from nearly ten years ago... Ahhhh, Nostalgia.
Jan.15th/09- I'd have to say 'White horse' by Taylor Swift is up there, but so is 'I caught myself' by Paramore. Seriously, Ooh, ooh, I can't forget 'Flightless bird, American mouth' by...uh, oh crap. I'll get back to you on that one, but I love that song so much, and it has special meaning to me now. (Happy sigh...)
Nov.10th/08- Wow, the song 'Snuff' by 'Slipknot'!! Seriously, my ex played it for me and I was frozen in my spot until the song finished! Buuut, I'd also have to say 'Love Story' by Taylor Swift is awesome too. Yah, my tastes in music kinda vary. :oP
Drink: Chocolate milk, Iced Tea, Ice capps, strawberry smoothies, peach juice, Pepsi, Iced Coffee with a shot of mint and chocolate. Oh...Tim Hortons Lg. coffee with 2 cream & 3 sugar, Monster Green (So much caffeine!), Green Tea w/ honey, raspberry flavored water, mango/pineapple smoothies from McDonalds, Black Raspberry milkshakes, almost all the V8 splashes and fusions.
Adult Drink: Mike's Hard Lemonade - and all various flavours incorporated. Kahlua mixed with milk, choco-milk, egg nog, ice cream, coffee - really, it goes with many, many creamy yums. Pornstars are good, but I HATE the hangover the next day. I don't normally get hangovers, but the morning after a night of those drinks is a bitch.
Color: Olive green- like my eyes, and dark orange, and cream-white, and lime green, and violet and teal, and chocolate brown. Yeah... Autum mostly.
Food: Chinese, Chicken ceasar wraps, Chicken Kiev!! and bbq chicken pizza. Anyting with feta cheese, salad-bar salads, garlic bread, cinnamon rolls, upside-down raspberry cake, Raspberries in general, yogurt parfaits, old cheddar, NACHOS! (With salsa and sour cream...*drool*...) Reese cereal, roast dinner, baked ham dinner, My mother's dressing, homemade bread... I'm hungry now.
Pastime: Spending any amount of time with Steph, Britt, Keni and Kiers. It's amazing. Add alcohol. Then you have a dog-pile of accidental trips and falls, camera flashes, drunken lovie-slurrs, fluffy-dough cats, car trunk trips and laughing until you squeak in air. Oh, can't forget moving floors, drunken walks to the store to buy chocolate just 'cause were women, or the insults! Who knew one could be called an asshole so many times and laugh about it? Heee, I love my friends!
Spending time with my bestfriend Rockamora, singing off-key and jumping off the rocks/swimming at the falls in our clothes until we're so bruised from bouncing off the driftwood and rocks that we call in sick at work the next day. OMG I miss that, it's been years...
Memories:Fourwheeling withmy father days before he died. He was fun-loving and his blue eyes would light up when he smiled. He could point out every type of tree andplant, kind of like a Mountain guide, only more fun. He would tell me stories of growing up on a farm, of his mischievous ways, of his racing days and his orange GTO with gray leather interior. I'm proud to be a lot like him.
Painting murals on walls with Roxann. We would spend hours just talking about what ever we wanted, she was an amazing, award-winning artist and would give me tips on bettering my own abilities. She was a deep thinker, silly, loved to laugh, scary smart, loyal to a fault and protective. I am a much stronger, open and more loving human being because of them.
Wrestling with the guys. And seeing thier faces when I threw one across the room. Heh. That's right. I used to be awesome like that, but the last time I tried to punch Kiers - it was a 'punch buggy thing', she didn't even realize I had hit her. Damn it.
Laying out in the middle of the road, staring up at the sky at 3am, holding my ex's hand and talking about our pasts. We cried, we laughed and we changed.
Sitting up until dawn with my younger brother discussing Anime and manga (This happens a lot). Comparing characters to everything. People we know, other characters, music - we have an entire list of songs to suit each character of Naruto. We just don't have a good enough computer to make the AMV's. Grrrrrrr.
Shopping with my mother. This doesn't happen often, but I love it. She's funny andknows how to spot great deals with things I love. And I trust her opinions like no other. She NOT afraid to say 'That dress makes your butt look fat', which is great. And...haha, she'll humor me too; "Mom, LOOK, they actually have the Box set of Naruto! Mom, look! It's Jacob and Bella! Awww! Mom, look! BOOKS!" Hahaha, she loves me.
I also love waching 'So You Think You Can Dance', 'American Idol', 'House', 'Criminal Minds' and other random shows with my mom. She's had a hard life, so anything that can make her laugh, awe her, or simply let her live outside of her head for a little bit means a lot to me. Her voice and her laugh are soothing, hopeful and inspirational to me.
Watching horror movies with my niece. There's only a few years in age difference and she's such a brave person; to see her cuddle close to me when a 'scary part' comes, it's funny, and sweet to know that she believes that I'll 'fix it' for her.
Waking up to Britty yelling 'Wake up, asshole' as she's straightening her hair while checking her facebook on my computer, after showering at my place. It's a second home to her, and I love it. She loves knowing where the key is. Haha. And knowing just how much she can get away with.
Laughing drunkenly at/with Steph as she and I helped a drunken Keni out of the bathtub, after she hit her head on the shelf behind the toilet and had fallen in.
Keni trying to sell me to an amusement park carnie for a hat. And me yelling at her as he CONSIDERED it! Oh. My. Gawd!
Driving to Salem, Mass. for a road trip with Keni. And realizing that she has an issue with falling off toilets when she fell off one trying to eavesdrop on my conversation with a random guy we met at a resturant. I laughed. So. Hard. And seeing her trying to light a camp fire. Fail. And seeing her smile, and sit on a stool to wait for me when we found a shop run by women who read tarot. I was excited.
Going to a BSB concert with Amy. It had been a dream 10 years in the making. Standing beside her, feeling 14 again as we sang along and cried over 'how hot' they are. It was amazing.
Discussing the pros and cons of NaruSasu vs. SasuNaru with Mal, and/or my self-proclaimed homophobic lil' bro. Interesting conversation, that.
Spiders. There is no need for any creature to have 8 eyes and legs. Honestly. I don't care if those numbers vary between species, it's still awful. They're creepy, stalker-ish little fuck-tards and I will squish them when I see them. Ew!
I also loathe being lied to. Oh I hate it. So much. Just thinking about it is irking me, seriously. Don't do it.
My Job. It's so degrading. I'm faced with the public every day, so I'm very well filtered. That 'filter' is tested almost daily. Let's face it, people are mean. Some days very mean. Some of my co-workers leave a lot to be desired, as well. That's true with many jobs though. Thank fuck I work with some of my best friends too.
I'd like to say that two faced people are bad too, but... I'm finding that I'm a bit two faced. It saddens me, actually and I don't mean to be! Honest! It started with a co-worker. We had been friends, but she, over time, pushed me away with her fake personality and her expectation to be given things she hadn't earned. To make it even more awkward, I'm her boss. So I've pulled away from our friendship, but I still spend 8 hours a day with her. I've come home and cried out the tension, but some days are really bad and I vent. I say mean, awful things about her, but end up feeling cleansed and a little more able to handle another shift with her. It sucks, but I've been warned to 'be professional' and I will not let her push me away from my job - that she wants.
I never realized how entertaining Gummy bears could be until a friend of mine put on a show. A R:18 gummy bear puppet show. Yep.
A co-worker had dedicated the first hour of shift as 'Shani's story time'. No, seriously!
It is believed that I have more coffee than blood in my system. I'm inclined to agree. (Tips coffee cup)
Pizza makes me hyper.
I tend to pickup random accents depending on the accent of the person I'm talking to.
I'll break into dance steps at random moments.
I've pierced my nose 16 times. I'm sadly not joking.
My favorite pet was a cat named Snoochie Boochie. He had more personality, spunk and loyality than most people I know.
I'm accident prone. Yep, I was once made 'Safety Captain' at work because if there's a sharp object or something to trip over-I'll find it.
My best friend and I wrote a song dedicated to Walmart.
I found a four week old kitten in the middle of a grain field and named her after a character in a fanfiction.
I will clean my home until you can lick off the floors - I use javex everywhere, but my bedroom is awful. My floor is my closet. Heh.
I'm collecting key chains from around the world. I have 2 from NY, 1 from Kentucky, 1 from Japan and I'm working on getting one from Ireland next.
From all those privy to my inner geek, only 1 person has realized that my current hairstlye is Gaara's from Naruto.
My hygiene products are color coordinated. If my Shampoo & conditioner is pink, so is my body wash, razor, shaving cream, lotion...etc
My childhood best friend and her husband had thier first child in April/2012. From her birth I was shocked at how evenly she split her parents characteristics. I have proof. In the photo of me holding her, she is sticking out her tongue (Mom) and giving the camera the finger (Dad). Haha!
