Well I'm Mae, a slightly cynical writer who prefers angst and tragedy over anything, but somehow ends up writing mostly romance anyway. Life's funny like that. I'm a 22 year old Aussie girl, born and bred from the wonderful state of Victoria. So I live in the most temperamental state in Ausland. I am not tan and blonde. I am pale with long brown hair. I prefer not to characterise myself in my stories, (where's the fun in that?) Yes I have an accent. It is awesome, I love being Australian. (No offence everyone else...) Yes I see kangaroos daily, and koalas, and fuzzy possums. The possums have a tendency to be flung from my backyard via a hose at 2am in the morning. This, believe it or not, is where most my story ideas come from. (Lying in bed listening to a stupid possum, somehow leads to fresh story ideas. Huh.) I don't have a style of music I like, I love Evanescence and Linkin Park, but oddly, not their genres. My selection of things is quite random too. I hate chick flicks, love horror and action; adore comedy when it makes me laugh. I've clocked up many favourite series, animes and mangas over the past years, so I can't be bothered naming them. I have a tendency to be slack with updating my stories, (argh don't kill me), but I have no plans to go anywhere, so you can be happy to know I'll get there, (eventually). It's hard to tick me off. Mostly what will do it; is getting flames after specifying not to, people putting forth their ideas without considering others', or openly being hostile towards me, when honestly, I'm too lazy to bring up a fight. (But I won't back down if you start one...) Basically, I'm easy going, care free, (down to earth?) and hopefully an insightful writer. If you happened to stumble across my profile, I thank you.
