What you should read: Tooth and Claw by Jo Walton
If you're like me and always wanted to read Jane Austen novels because they're the kind of thing that you want to tell a stranger you're reading because it makes you look good but you couldn't get into the hefty tomes full of high society talk, intricate social mores, and somewhat predictable outcomes, you should give this book a try. It has all of those things, except people are dragons. Which instantly makes the read fascinating, obviously.
What I'm Working On Right Now / Fanfiction Updates
Working on a series of Sakura-centric drabbles and oneshots titled You Stole My Village Bicycle. Because I love fanon females!
To request a chapter for YSMVB, give me a prompt through a message or a review (preferably a review, because I like watching the numbers go up). Just don't request a pairing or other character that's already been used, please. As far as that fic goes, I'm still working on chapters but currently I am more focused on a project of a different sort, one that might send you packing. (Please do not be sent packing.)
You may have heard me say that I am planning to redo parts of Abendrot. Let me say that this is still a desire of mine, but I have no idea how much work I'll end up putting into it. Part of me wants to leave it as-is, but another part wants to utilize my matured writing skills to update a fanfiction that a lot of people really loved. I even had an idea for a few extra chapters, but I doubt it will go that far. I'd like to keep it as close to the original as possible.
So I hope you all don't completely hate me for getting into the Friendship is Magic fandom, but...I really like it. And true to form, I am in possession of the deep, deep desire to take something innocent and simple and shove some angst and darkfic all up in there. Therefore, post completion of my Testing the Fandom Waters Fanfiction, I will be working on a full-length, Abendrot-probably-sized fanfiction starring Rarity. You're welcome.
I co-authored Take It Or Leave It with KorinaCaffeine/Fallacy, the craziest AkatSaku you will ever read, ever. It started out as just something fun to do, but turned into more of a satire. That may or may not have ticked people off at the end, but hey. Just think of it as a poorman's Terry Pratchett! Reading it through that lens, I think it'll be a lot better for you. You can read the fic at her profile, here.
After a long period of non-working links and non-working me, I am once again putting the fanart section up! I know there are some ones missing here. If one of yours is, please let me know.

I have always considered people's profiles to be a reflection of who they are. Here, in the wilds of the internet, you are what you choose to be, unbridled by real life unless you and everyone you know made some sort of exodus en masse from RL to the Pit of Voles. And if that's the case, then I feel real bad for you. Me, I've always kept my fanfiction life separate from my real life, and a grand total of two people I met in RL first even know that I write fanfiction, but I haven't really shared anything with them. What about you? How does your fanfiction fit into your life outside your internet? (Do you have true life outside your internet?)
