Author has written 10 stories for Stargate: SG-1, and Castle.

The funny thing about profile pages, is that I never really know what to say. I'm a rather loud and outgoing person, but when it comes to describing myself or "personal" matters, I tend to be very private (as my close friends will tell you. I know several are really frustrated with me about it.) But I'm going to attempt, so here goes:

I'm currently within sight of the finish line on getting my MA in the Philippines. I'm 27 years old. I was born in Florida but have spent my time between Cali and Florida, except for the four years I've spent in Tennessee going to school, one year in Kentucky, and the last 2 years in Silang, Cavite, Philippines. I'm 6'0" tall. I have really curly hair and I'm one of the few who doesn't complain about it all the time.

Okay...what else? Oh...I know...I'm very sarcastic and have a witty sense of humor. I love plays on words and sarcasm is just so much fun, especially when people don't get it...guess that's why I love Stargate so much...the humor is all witty and sarcastic, just like me! As I said before I'm also quite loud and opinionated.

Okay, now I'm really at a loss, so I'm gonna stop talking about myself for now. You guys probably don't even care...but oh well...

Fanfiction - Stargate

I thought I would go ahead and give a bit of a plug for my fanfiction while I have your attention. I have a number of stories up...and I finally finished Curriculum Vitae! Woohoo! A little about my style of writing: I'm a bit of a purist. Part of the reason it takes me so long to finish some stories is because I'm very conscientious about sticking to the universe that is Stargate. I try very hard to stick to the canon characters and to portray them as they appear in the show. Although it isn't always possible, I try to do the same with the general Stargate canon, of course that changes regularly with each season so some of my stories might be a little outdated, but hey such is life. BTW, I am a huge Sam/Jack shipper, although I don't always portray it outright in my fics because the show doesn't say much about it. However, I do try to throw a little bit of subtle shippiness into my stories.

Familiar Face (Part 1 in The Long Road Home Series) - This is my first fanfic ever. I came up with it in the spring of 2006 after watching the first 9 seasons in less than 2 months. I originally posted it on gateworld.net but then found this lovely sight and decided I liked it better. This fic was nominated by an unknown someone for the 2006 Stargate Fan Awards...didn't win, but being nominated was cool.

One's Own Worst Enemy - This was just a little bit of shippy fluff that my muse wouldn't allow me to put to rest without writing it first. Although a little unsure of writing an AU story, especially one that originally presented itself in my head as full shippiness, I was very happy with how it turned out. See...there's a reason I listen to my muse...she usually knows what she is talking about...even if it doesn't appear so at the beginning.

Strength from Within (Part 2 in The Long Road Home Series) - Originally I had no plans of writing Jackie anymore...didn't really seem possible considering who she is (trying not to spoil Familiar Face). Technically this story can be read as a stand alone fic, but I think it will make more sense (especially once I start the third one) if it is read in order. But who knows...I'm just the writer...you guys are the readers.

2030 - Okay...I had no intention of writing another Jackie fic (besides the trilogy of course). I think the problem here is that I was trying too hard earlier to find a sequel to Familiar Face and this one started out as a possibility, but than I discarded it because it was too similar to Familiar Face. Of course, that didn't seem to matter to my muse...still ended up writing it, and even finished it before Strength from Within.

Farewell to a True Hero - This is a simple oneshot that came to me while watching President Ford's D.C. memorial. I suddenly started thinking how Jack would probably attend a function like that. Of course I got to thinking about it more and in all honesty timing seemed about right for Ford to be in office while Jack was in Black Ops, so I thought it apropos to show Jack saying goodbye.

Curriculum Vitae (Part 3 in The Long Road Home Series) - Okay, so I'm really excited about this story. This is a continuation from A Familiar Face and Strength from Within. This is my picture of how the first movie could go. There are a number of spoilers from the second half of season 10...so I apologize now if you haven't seen it...there will be warnings at the beginning of each chapter for spoiler episodes. All questions will be answered by the end of this story...including a few things that alternate Carter alluded to at the end of Strength from Within.

A Stitch in Time Saves Nine (formerly A Stitch in Time) - I was seriously considering taking a brief hiatus from writing fanfics...but then this story popped into my head. I guess it was inevitable. After all, Curriculum Vitae was my version of Stargate Ark of Truth and this one is my version of Continuum. For those of you who have read spoilers for Continuum on Gateworld (or elsewhere) I'm only using the earliest of spoilers to guide my story...I've dismissed some of the later ones cause they didn't fit into my story. Due to there being another story with the title A Stitch in Time I decided to go with the full title that the shortened version was based on. I'd be interested to know if anyone can figure out just what I meant by the title... :) Virtual Cookies to anyone who can figure it out!

Carmel - So I was partially successful in taking a hiatus from writing fanfics...but as you can see, it didn't last. This is a quick one shot that got stuck in my head. Takes Stargate and a little religion to make, what I thought, was a rather entertaining story. Anymore would ruin it. So read, enjoy, review...

Tenth Chevron - This little plot bunny settled in my mind after a conversation with my best friend and fellow Stargate geek, I tried to ignore it for quite some time, but finally caved to the pressure of my muse. As you will see, it's labeled as "complete" but in all honesty this particular story could cover every single episode of Stargate SG-1. The basic premise of this story is that, in all honesty, there's no way one group of people had that much good luck. So what if they had "guardian angels" to help them out? You'll see a return of Alexa and the creation of 3 new characters who form the "Tenth Chevron Team." I'm currently on hiatus writing this story as I finish my MA. I'm sorry for the terrible cliff hanger, but I've barely had enough brain power to finish my degree in a year, much less continue writing.

Fanfiction - Castle

As mentioned above, I had every intention of putting my fanfic writing on hold while completing my degree. I even left Tenth Chevron with a horrible cliff hanger, just to keep that promise to myself. And then the Castle season 3 finale happened. I was in absolute shock, so in order to gain some perspective I decided to read a few stories based on the episode. But as I read, I realized that one of the things that stood out in the episode wasn't being addressed in any of the stories I was reading. And what should happen? My muse pops up out of her forced hybernation, grabs hold of this plot bunny and dangles it in front of my face, making it impossible to work on my term paper due this week.

For Our Family - I've been dying of curiosity to see who Montgomery addressed that envelope to. After the scene in the hanger, when he wouldn't tell Beckett who the "boss" was for fear she'd go straight for him, I figure he wouldn't have sent the package to her. But who is going to get it? This is my take on what might happen next season. This story is a one shot for now. If my muse hits again after my last classes are finished, it might become more.

Well...this was a lot more than I expected to write on this page. Of course it's kinda late so I may be rambling a bit. Oh well.

Bye now!
