Author has written 4 stories for Harry Potter.
Favorite books/book series: Harry Potter, The Great Gatsby, Macbeth, To Kill a Mockingbird, 1984, The Bell Jar, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, The Kite Runner. Various others.
Ships I sail: Lily/James, Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione (well, I dunno. I'm kind of on the fence about them, to be quite honest...), Fred/Hermione (but only in fanfiction. I wouldn't want Fred and Hermione together in the books), Dobby/Winky, Lily/Giant Squid (haha), a couple of others that I can't think of at the moment.
Ships I sink: I don't like a lot of ships. So instead of listing all of them, I'll just generalize: anything slash (except Dumbledore/Grindelwald and a couple of others that I can't think of right now), any Slytherin with any Gryffindor, Hermione with anyone but a Weasley, Ginny with anyone but Harry, and Dumbledore/McGonnagal (Seriously. That's just wrong.) Umm... yeah. I think that pretty much sums it up.

Random crap: I'm not a fantastic writer. I wouldn't say I'm even a decent writer. I'll scribble something down when I have the inspiration, or when I've got nothing better to do. But writing, for me, has lost its appeal. When I was in fifth and sixth grade I was an avid story writer, intent on becoming a published author. But looking back on the few stories I've been able to dig up from that era, I realize that I have no real talent. The stories I once prided myself on are nothing more than the pathetic attempts of an eleven-year-old to write a fantasy story as captivating as Harry Potter. No, my silly stories about fairies and gnomes and secret worlds under water rides were not foreshadowing of a great career as a novelist. It pains me to remark that, honestly, my writing has scarcely improved since those days of poorly thought-out, never-completed stories. Reading back on what I've recently written, especially my fan fiction, I recognize it as no better than the unskillfully written fanfics with one-line paragraphs and poorly developed characters that I've never been fond of.
I don't write very much anymore, at least not much fanfic. I participated in National Novel Writing Month this year and successfully reached the fifty-thousand word mark at 11:58 pm on November 30th. Other than that I haven't done any writing recently. Perhaps some other time...
