I would personally like to thank Stephenie Meyer and one of my old teachers for introducing me to Anne Rice and her marvelous Vampire Chronicals.
Frankenstein is one of the classics I would definately reccommend. Anne Rice is a good read, but much like any person, I read them vigorously and eventually am overblown by the same writing style. Shift back and forth between series, authors, and genres and you are more likely to enjoy them.
I enjoy writing and reading, so please feel free to provide some sort of constructive criticism, but flaming is unacceptable. I wouldn't do it to you, don't do it to me please. Thanks :)
