I am gistech (formerly ggctuk). I like to write as a hobby. I'm also an avid film music fan, as well as a fan of some of what I consider to be the best films out there. I don't write much in one go, sometimes I get bogged down by many ideas and have trouble deciding which one to go for, but I write from the heart.
I highly recommend you check out the stories I've favourited and followed. These are written by excellent authors who often have unique approaches to writing for their particular fictions.
Favorite movies: The Matrix trilogy, The Indiana Jones series, The Chronicles of Riddick series, The Terminator and Terminator 2, The Mummy, Jurassic Park, The Lion King, Avatar, Marvel Cinematic Universe, Star Wars, Zootropolis (Zootopia), Pete's Dragon 2016, The Jungle Book 2016, Star Trek, and far too many more to list.
Favourite Anime: Tsubasa Chronicle, Summer Wars, Wolf Children, Neon Genesis Evangelion, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Bamboo Blade, K-On, Origin Spirits Of The Past, Sword Art Online, Log Horizon, A Lull In The Sea.
Favorite games: Star Wars Battlefront series, The Matrix - Path of Neo, Medal of Honor (the old WW2 games), Sonic the Hedgehog series (except for '06 and Boom), Tomb Raider series, Pokemon series, GTA V, Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth, Doom 2016
Favorite music/artists: John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, Don Davis, Michael Giacchino, Hans Zimmer, James Horner, Danny Elfman.
Favorite Books: The Dexter series by Jeff Lindsay. You might have seen the TV series, Dexter, based off the first book. I strongly recommend the first two books if you are a crime fiction fan. Darth Plagueis is a very interesting read as it delved into the history of one of the most famous Star Wars villans, even though it's no longer canon. I also recommend Andy McNab's Battlefield 3 for a very different take on the game's story. I also recommend Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park for fans of the film: not only is this the book the film is based on, it plays out differently enough to keep you interested throughout. I mentioned liking the anime version, but I also love the novel versions of Sword Art Online and Log Horizon.
