Author has written 9 stories for Harry Potter, Big Bang Theory, Highlander, Doctor Strange, and Marvel. Hello! If you can’t tell from my work, I like Harry Potter, Marvel, The Big Bang Theory, and asking questions of plot holes/flaws/alternatives. My chapters tend to be quite short, with an irregular upload rate, and the reason for this is twofold. 1)Before becoming a fanfic writer, I did Neil Gaiman’s Masterclass. In one lesson, he talks about conciseness – saying what needs to be said, and what you want to say, in as few words as possible. 2) When I write, I have what I think of as an “Inspiration Pipeline”. When the inspiration flows, I can write, but when it shuts off, I can’t – and I have no control of when it does so, or for which story the pipe is flowing. Some of my stories are connected, in what I have come to think of as a universe called the Marvel Literary Wizarding World. These are: Professor Strange Harry Potter & The Dark Dimension The Serpent Becomes A Lion A Shoulder To Cry On A Shoulder To Cry On and The Serpent Becomes A Lion are spin-offs from Professor Strange. To get the context for them, I’d suggest you read Professor Strange first. My other stories are: Pointing Out The Obvious - A collection of one-shots, each unconnected to anything else, save that they revolve around a Harry who uses his brain a bit more. The Night Is Dark And Full Of Terrors – A dark story, set in an AU where Voldemort was stealthy when he went to Godric’s Hollow, and the ramifications of that. The Incarceration Deviation – My one Big Bang Theory story, which I haven’t touched since uploading what little there is, because I have no idea how to proceed with it. It asks “What if Sheldon did rat Leonard out to the authorities in the incident with the rocket fuel?” Things I have ideas for, but are as yet unwritten beyond the concept/ working title/first couple of hundred words: The Subtle Science and Exact Art – A Snape story, where he’s still presenting a front of being an unpleasant person, but not when it comes to teaching. “Game Night” – a Star Trek: Deep Space Nine story in which Sisko learns of the 21st Century Earth entertainment “Board Game Night”, and decides to have one. “Walk on the Wesen Side” – a Grimm story, post-season 6, in which a family with adopted Wesen kids moves in next door to Munro and Rosalee – but the kids don’t know about Wesen. Hilarity/adorableness ensues. A story about Dudley Dursley – to say anything about this would be spoilers. Inspired by an r/hpfanfiction prompt post, a story in which Petunia is a fantasy writer, and Vernon a stage magician, thus fully accepting of Harry. A Harry Potter/Discworld crossover, in which Hogwarts becomes home to a clan of Nac Mac Feegles. Finally, a note about reviews. I like them – when they’re positive, obviously. Of course I do, all authors do. What we like especially, though, is reviews that provide actual feedback. A review that says “Good chapter”, though welcome, falls in significance in the face of a review where the reviewer actually says what they found good. As such, if you read something of mine, and you like it: Please leave a review, and say what you liked! |
