Hello... I'm pretty sure nobody ever reads my profile but I'll put something up anyways...
I am a female living in California and is in high school...
I have always loved reading. I actually started reading in 1st grade. Where my dad worked was about and hour away and then and time for traffic, so before bed on the weekends he would read me a chapter from Harry Potter. I guess one day I just said "Forget waiting for him! I'll read it myself!" and then I just started reading it.
I am actually a very picky reader. I also am normally a good judge on what I will like. But I do welcome recomendations.
I love reading fanfiction. I mostly just read Harry Potter fanfiction, but a couple years back I was really into anime and manga. I still ocasionally read some manga now, just not as much as before. So on my favorites list you will find some Naruto, Prince of Tennis and other stuff, or I might have deleted them, I don't remember.
Even though I normally just stick to Harry Potter fanfiction, I do read the occasional House, Ouran, Hunger Games, and random ones like that. I also will occasionally read a crossover.
I am pretty open minded about most fanfictions in areas of pairings and plot and stuff. I read based of if I like the plot, or the writting style, or on how different it is. I try not to say I am against something. Like take stories where the genders are switched. I see quite a few Harry Potter stories where Harry is a girl, and I have read the first couple chapters of some, but I have never found one I have liked.
Also if I really really really love a story I will always stick with it. It could be completed, and I'll re-read it. It could be updated only every so offten, but I'll still be hoping for updates... Once I find something I like I stick with it.
Also, you know I am interested in something I I review. If I review it either means that I love the story or that I am interested in where it may go.
Last but not least because I am who I am, I will recomend the Fictionpress story call Stupid Post It Notes... If you google it, it will be the first link. It's not completed and the writter may never finish it but it's still worth the time to read and is one of my favorite stories ever.
