Author has written 4 stories for Flash, Arrow, Mass Effect, and Supergirl.
I'm a 32-year-old man with Asperger's Syndrome, severe social anxiety, and prone to depression and bad decisions when said depression gets to be too much. I'm also a lover of good storytelling and sadly that means half the time I have to read fanfiction because of how much dreck is passed off as 'awesome storytelling' these days in film and television.
Why I Write FanFiction
I don't write fanfiction because I'm being paid to do it. I don't write fanfiction because I absolutely love the lore of something. Not anymore, anyways. These days, I write fanfiction because something is broken and I have this absurd need to fix what's broken. That means rewrites, occasional crossovers for the sake of amusement, and a few stories that just end up getting deleted because they aren't doing what I wanted them to do.
I write fanfiction for myself first, because its what I want to see or what I would love to happen if they did something absurd like reboot a series with the main character waking up the day his adventures began. For those wondering, I actually got the idea for that kind of thing due to both fanfiction and an old cartoon series called Mighty Max. The series ended, if I recall right, with Max back at his home the day his weapon (a hat) arrived and it was obvious he planned to make some changes this time around. Who knows. Maybe that's where whoever came up with the idea of a character reliving their adventures via reincarnation of some kind came from in the first place.
I write primarily in the Arrowverse, Mass Effect, and Harry Potter fandoms. Crossovers with other properties such as Star Wars, Stargate, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and other older IPs are likely to happen.
Bete Noire: Oliver Queen doesn't listen to Felicity when she tries to reach him in his Vertigo-induced mission to take down Diaz old-school, and is killed only to wake up in his old lair, just after having been dosed with Vertigo for the first time. Now Oliver must divine whether he has been given a second chance somehow, or if he hallucinated six years of fighting.
A Different Kind of Operative: Having lost everyone and everything he loved thanks to the machinations of Adrian Chase and Talia al Ghul, Oliver Queen uses an extrapolator to travel to Earth-38 to inform Kara Danvers of the sacrifice made by Barry Allen only to discover the woman is missing, presumed to be held by an anti-alien organization, Cadmus. Oliver picks up the bow one last time to aid the Girl of Steel in her most desperate hour.
The Ryder Initiative: Scott Ryder has been an outcast amongst his own kind as a biotic and among the Citadel races for being a human, seen as a second-class citizen by more elitist members of the Council races. He left that life behind with his father and sister, hoping for the adventure of a lifetime. What he found was horror beyond imagination and a relentless, merciless adversary whose technology and motivations are truly alien.
