Author has written 1 story for Amalgam Comics.

I always loved telling stories. As a very young child, I remember receiving various toys and action figures. To me, these weren't just playthings. Each new toy I received became a new character in an ongoing drama. Eventually my toychest contained years of imaginative storylines. I guess that's where it started.

Over the years my toychest began to collect dust in someone else's basement, but my fondness for stories continued to grow. It didn't take me long to discover the joys of comic books. This unique blend of picture and word became an art I'm still fascinated with to this day. Unfortunately, my artistic ability in terms of drawing leaves quite a bit to be desired. That's when I took up writing.

My earliest "works" were mostly short stories to get me through fourth grade math class. Years later, after recently graduating college and landing a boring office job, I still attempt to find the time to write whatever is in that crazy head of mine. That's what brought me to this site. Not only do I get a chance to share my stories with all of you, but I get to read an almost limitless amount of your work. It's like finding a whole room full of toychests!

I've written numerous stories of varying genres and quality, but the first story I'll be posting here is a mini series entitled The American Joke. This is a series I'm still working on that combines the mythology of Marvel Comics' Captain America with that of DC's Joker. To me, these characters represent the perfect example of a hero and villain respectively. I'm having a lot of fun trying to meld their histories into one story. As with all of my work, any criticism and praise would be greatly appreciated.

I'd just like to thank all the readers and writers out there. I'm really grateful to have my stories shown in any outlet. If just one person out there enjoys my work, it makes it all worthwhile. At the same time, I'm excited to read the numerous works posted by others. Thanks again!
